First I want to say that if this is in the wrong forum, please move it to the appropriate one. I put it here because all the other Gorilla Tactics posts were here. Thanks.

I am trying to locate anyone who can help with getting money back or merchandise from Gorilla Tactics. They advertised a great Black Friday sale on here last year, and I still do not have about half of the items I ordered. I have send so many emails to the person and I have not been successful at getting my money back or my items. I have also tried every phone number I could get my hands on, only reaching what appeared to be his mother-in-law at one point and a lot of different voice mail systems on all the others.

If anyone has any information or advice, please help me out. I am currently out a lot of money that I would just like to get back.

Thanks,
Flaim

Can't you contact your credit card company and task them with withdrawing your money?

Contact your credit card company. Sadly it might be too late to dispute the charges.

If that's the case, you might have to go to Small Claims Court...

I've read through all the hardships that others had faced. Unfortunately for me, the excuses given seemed fairly real and legitimate. Then I realized it had been 6+ months and I hadn't gotten everything.

I was planning on contacting my credit card company, but I have virtually no information about this guy. I am not sure what they are going to ask, and I don't have a legitimate name, address or phone number. If anyone has that information, I think it would help my case.

Thanks,
Flaim

Flaim,

You don't need that information. All you need is the info for the sale you are disputing (date/ amount). Your CC should take it from there.

I'll give that a shot then. Thanks for the help everyone.

This man speaks the truth. You don;t need personal information about the person, or even information about the business. Just call your card company and tell them that you would like to dispute a charge made to your card a few months back. The process is fairly simple, and credit card companies are pretty unforgiving to online retailers, due to the high amount of scamming typically associated with them.

I think you only have 90 days to dispute the charges though. After that, you loose your right to a refund.

I've disputed stuff as late as a year and had no problem getting my money back.

A fraudulent charge may be 90 days, but stuff such as undelivered merchandise, damaged goods, merch not as described, etc you generally get more leeway with.

For the record, anyone who trades online are denied the opportunity to hide their adress details attatched to their domain. So you can check by just looking up the domain name on a site like whois.com

Unless you pay a third party company to hide your real address, in which case they use their address in place of yours (as is the case in the address you specify above).

Oh, it can. But that usually requires resources an online gaming company can't muster up. Any updates from the OP?

If you use a web hosting service, along with a 3rd-party domain service, why wouldn't their location and information be on the whois?
