UK, Wherever I lay my hat

So yeah anyone dealt with these guys before?

http://www.krmulticase.co.uk/mainuk.html

Its the card cases that I'm interested in but I'm having difficulty getting into the site what with all the codes and stuff. Anyway I'm looking for somthing to hold my 3k points of Eldar (86 infantry, 6 jetbikes, 2 falcon size, 2 waveserpent size, 1 wraithlord, 3 warwalkers) Reckon I can get this in 2 of the card multicases.

So my questions are: How sturdy is the card? (I generally walk to my local GW) Can always put it in a plastic bag but I'm curious for bumps and knocks.

Which format holds Eldar infantry better Standard F-format (36 compartments) or Standard N-format (40 compartments) Oh and what depth 23mm or 32mm?

Concerning the pick and pluck stuff for vehicles, from the pictures I can see it looks like its already prescored. I don't know whether this is a good thing or not as I've never used pick and pluck before. Actually how do you cut pick and pluck to the depth you want? Like how do you know when to stop without going straight through the other side?

Anyway if you have answers or any other useful information about KR please post.

I've bought a load off them, and i'm not being a fanboy but they are 100% perfect in my opinion. The guy Daryl is great with replying to emails and his customer care is top notch. i'd put my reputation on them

The card cases are very durable and reliable, i've got 14 cases and none have ever even ripped through wear.

for the compartments go for the 32mm 36 compartments it covers the slightly wider poses you'll no doubt have, they hold all the striking scorps poses et fine, and if your dealing with vehicles go for the D-pluck 110mm ight case, it has room for two tanks (wave serpents etc) and enough room for a lying down warwalker underneath each and maybe a jet bike on each side.

The pick and pluck is joined by thin holding bits of foam, what you do is put the vehicle on top and see ho much needs to be taken out then rip the pieces out one by one until the gap is big enough,

For the tanks take the 110mm stuff, same for jetbikes etc, the 51mm is great for holding terminators etc but i think the jetbikes and such are too tall. the pluck cases are that depth, as in for 110mm cases all the pieces are 110mm, and the 51mm cases are 51mm sections.

just use your fingers, force them down one side and pull the bit out and keep going until your vehicle fits in, its not messy and is easy to do.

If you want examples i can show you some pics of the cases i picked and plucked for my forces.

I'll be honest, buy the crrying case Kraiser i think it is, for your army you wuold prob need 3-4 cases.

1 case 110mm D pluck (KRMD1) holding 2 waveserpents, wraithlord, 1 warwalker

1 case 110mm D pluck (KRMD1) holding 2 war walkers, 2 falcons

1 case (KRMD8) with 2x 36 compartments and 51mm pluck layer would do your jet bikes and troops i believe.

Although if you want a little bit more room for expansion scrap the KRMD8 and get 2 KRMD7, its half 110mm depth pluck and 3 32mm compartments. two of those will hold all your troops and allow you some room for another tank and few men if you want.

And as said earlier if you want a bit of a deal take those cases in the Kraiser 3 (or 4 if you've taking the extra room suggested) their very easy to carry and are not too bulky to move through doors etc with, that and it protects and makes it much easier to move your army about.

Bet i sound like a fanboy dont I? but as I said, i've used them a fair bit and the service and products are 100%, i'll be using them again in future due to this.

I've got 7 of these now, all the pick and pluck ones and they recieve a huge from me. For the money compared to other cases, they are excellent value for money.

I 1 for each of my 2 Baneblades, with seperate sections for the tank, Battlecannon, and Lascannons. 1 for my Shadow sword. and 4 for my 2 Warhound Titans, 1 for the legs, one for the top.

Pound for Pound, I'd by these anyday over the GW ones.

A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............

Thier website mentions free worldwide shipping.. so I think a US distributor might be redundant..

I can recommend them, they took a week from order to delivery (ordered Sunday, case arrived the following Monday), and the case is pretty solid. The regular 40 count trays are roomy enough for my IG and even things like Empire Spearmen seem to fit there nicely. There was some problems with them updating stock status on the double aluminum cases on their EU store, which required me to send a couple of emails about it, but they reimbursed my patience with the gift of a free baggie of dice.

Working with the pick and pluck trays was a bit of a bother for me, but chalk that up to inexperience. One thing you might want to consider is that KR trays are 15 by 10 inches, so other companies' trays will be loose (and as you'll be transporting them on their side, you do not want looseness). So if you want to commission something from Battlefoam, that's a good thing to keep in mind.

My double aluminum currently fits about 160 foot troops, 6 ogryns, three heavy weapons teams, two thudd guns, four tanks and there's still about half of a 30mm tray to go. Which isn't bad.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Wow Thanks for all the responses guys especially to Duce for the specific foam recommendations. They sound great but just one last concern, how strong is that card?

Duce wrote: If you want examples i can show you some pics of the cases i picked and plucked for my forces.

That would be great if you could.

I wanted to thank everyone who's posted as well, since I've been mulling over a purchase of the card KR case as well. I'll also second that request for some pictures!

@Hammerziet

The card is very strong. It's definitely stronger than regular corrugated card, and I would say just as strong as a typical plastic case. The only downside is that it is card and hence can't stand up to water. Otherwise, anything that would destroy one of the card cases will destroy a plastic case as well.

This is why i suggest buying the Kraiser 2/3/4 depending on how many you need, if you order it and the 3 cases in it then its cheaper than buying the cases and an empty one seperate on your order. it will keep the cases in better condition and make it easier to transport, along with giving enough room to put your codex and mini AOBR rule books in.

As for pics i'll try to get them up asap, just need to charge camera. there's a gallery on the site for those of you who want to get some idea of how they look with models in them

I've purchased a single one of these card cases myself, and it seems to be just as good as the GW ones in every regard, bar one. Don't get caught out in heavy rain with it, it's fairly waterproof, but too much water, and the card becomes damaged. So it's not what you'd call an all weather case.

It is complex, but it's worth getting to grips with the system, because there are several options you can go for. They try to make it as clear as possible on this page: http://www.kaiserrushforth.com/customise.html In short, the letter is for the tray type, the number is for thickness.

I had a look on their site and the pictures are a little small and a few are blurry or dark so its hard to tell exactly how well they fit in there.

But anyway thanks to you guys for telling me what I need to know and I'll definitely be placing an order with them in the next few days.
