That's some nice work, can you take a few more close up shots of your new terrain? I like good city fighting terrain for some reason.

I did take some shots of the finished Command Russ, but they looked awful. I'll have to get a few more soon too. Been on a break from painting for the last month or so thanks to Mass Effect 2. I guess I can get started any time now that I've beat it though...

Okay, mostly to satisfy Corvus so that he'll stop drooling on his keyboard in anticipation (Yes, that's right, I'm watching you ) here are a couple shots of the Command Russ that I -just- shot. Seriously, my devotion to painting has been pretty hurtin' lately, what with no one to really paint/play against. *BIG SIGH* Man I wish this city had a bigger hobby base.

You know how people say "The picture screwed up the light a bit"?

Well the light is actually WORSE in reality It's a standard bulb, it's new, but it's like a dark freaking orange light. Seriously, just the worst P.O.S. ever. Ahh well. The light is the least of my concerns I guess.

yeah got a new avatar lol. And sadly it aint a true Russian SVD (those -ers cost around 4K in the US these days and they're rare as hell on top of it) what I have is a Romanian PSL, which is their version of the Dragunov. There are some slight differences, and the rifle is stamped steel instead of the superior milled steel of the Russian guns, and it uses an AK-style gas piston instead of the short-stroke piston used in the SVD. Its still a great (and affordable for an E-3) rifle, performs similar to an SVD or Nagant when fed the right ammo. And yes, BE JEALOUS

joking aside, i'm impressed with what you've done thus far, so much so that i've recently ordered some more models for my own IG force.

I say we all sit around in an igloo and eat poutine, drink Tennesse Whiskey, and watch a special one-time-only NASCAR race where the normal drivers are replaced by Hockey Players. Then, we can all go out Curling while shooting assault rifles in the air and punting a beaver. Finally, we'll wrap things up by playing a game of "FOOTBALL!" dressed as Mounties.

I'm still halfway through Russ #2. I also got more tiles done (Chaos Tile, Imperial Outpost, Coastal #5 and Ruined City #2)

Mostly though I've been helping the woman with her Chaos Marines so she can get up to speed and play a few proper games. I painted her Daemon Prince for her and I'm also painting her a winged Lord (Counts as Jump pack) so she has some HQ options. Made him from bits out of the Battleforce I bought her. I'll have some pics of the two up tonight if everyone wants em'

You know the rule! Pics or it didn't happen! We want those shiny colored pixels!
