I have the same hardpoint as everyone else, so i'm not a real tanker. I'm going to take down as many torpedos as possible. But then will disperse the others over the other ships, so we can stay alive as long as possible.

Ahem, on a more serious note, we also have the "Close Support Drill" available to all ships, meaning that all carriers and torpedo users should be with me so we can abuse this to the maximum.
I can imagine 15 Torpedoes per turn with strike craft support ensuring they reach their target can cripple dreadnought in five rounds!

There is no weapon that causes area damage to my knowledge, and we won't be clustered up.
We'll probably be several KM apart to avoid collisions etc. but Close Support Drill allows us to focus fire better anyway.

Use your shields and somehow configure them to reflect heat.

This could be a good idea, mabey if I stick with Darko, and you stay with Lord Harrab's carrier, we will be able to send barrages of mixed weapons fire from multiple directions.

Do remember that naval vessels must keep a certain distance to avoid collisions. I understand that this is a sci-fi RP, but common sense prevails in this situation.

yes we do. now we can dodge up, down,left,right,etc. but we also dont want to ram each other (well,maybe ill bounce off darko for some amusement ) plus if were in a meteor belt of somethin...
