More sets are sold out for AoS… selling like hotcakes.

As a fan of Age of Sigmar I would say great news, cynic side of me, says GW didn't produce enough on purpose to create artificial hype for AoS to appear to make it more popular than it really seems. Damn I have been a cynic for too long now. Even when I see something good, I am always thinking there is an alternative motive.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

We can infer a lot about the success of aos from these sets. 3 are sold out in the UK, but none in the US, whereas the traitor legions book is out of stock in the US but not the UK.
It seems clear that Aos is doing very well in the UK, but has not caught on worldwide, while The US is still very much the bastion of 40k.

I don't think I'll be buying any of these unfortunately. I'll be away from my apartment for almost a month for the holidays and I really don't want to bring minis back on the plane if I had it shipped to my parent's house.

Not really. Australia, NZ and USA haven't run out atm in any box, but only the Khornate Warrior are left in every other regional web store, so it depends of .

And I'm really surprised, I was expecting that from the Sylvaneth box, but not every other AoS; not only that, I thought that the Tau and Deathwatch boxes would be the first to run out in the very first days. Maybe it has to do with the rules.

That being said I'm quite... dunno, I just wanted all of those boxes but the stock seems to have been extremely short.

There is only one thing left to do: go to Facebook and ask for yearly Battleforces or something.

They are listening to us, and they did a second run for many Fantasy miniatures, and this Battleforces are just excellent and not including them more regularly could be a huge miss: they could just work like SC! expansions, making a two-steps army, just like several competitors out there.

December 2017 is getting closer, do you think we'll see similar bundles this year? Any speculation on which factions could be included - maybe the ones for which they released a new codex e.g. death guard or rather something that is not the current hotness?

I'm pretty new to Warhammer and saw there were also bundles released not for Christmas e.g. the virulent horde (march?). Is there some pattern, when such bundles typically get released? So far I only saw rumors on paint and terrain bundles.

Seemed more reasonable to me to ask in this context, rather than start a new thread as point 2 says "Please DO NOT start threads to ask if people have rumours they have not shared" Also wanted ask about the general release pattern, rather than some specific box.

Best to wait until we've got some actual news or rumors to discuss on this one...

Thanks!
