A quick clarification.
So Creed/Al can give a platoon outflank.

Outflank says each unit rolls for which side of the board it comes in on.

Platoon says "it counts as a single Troops choice on the force organization chart when deploying, and is rolled for collectively when rolling for reserves."

So if I have a platoon outflanking do I roll for side once, or multiple times, once for each element?

You would have to roll seperately for the outflank to chose sides. Just because they have a rule to let you roll for them to turn up together doesn't change the rules for outflank itself.

Incidentally, Creed does not give a whole platoon outflank. Only one unit (which can be a unit of 50 guardsmen if you like, but still only one unit).


If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough...

Thats actually incorrect (I was reading another thread about this). Squads can only combine when they are deployed, not when in reserve, so only 1 Squad can Outflank due to Creed.
