Ive now built my first ever Valkyrie & it was a fiddly pleasure.

Ive (probably poorly) modifyed the scatter laser to resemble a lascannon, to pair with the lascannon you get with the kit - both of which attach to either side of the nose section.

My question is;

How should I go about adding two more sets of TL-lascannons to the wings. Thats where I want them, otherwise three on the nose would be pretty stright-forward. Also in terms of where can I get the parts/bits? Can you order (Im live in the UK here, the Dakka-nets lie) bits from the Internet? Which bits?

Thanks for any advice & suggestions.

Lascannon sponsons from the Landraider kit under each wing work great. However, they can be hard to obtain.

You can magnetize the wing hardpoints and then make twin lascannons from predator/landraider sponsors or from any number of other kits

This site sells bitz in the UK. But due to high demand it's really hard to get what you want from them:

Heh, and your paying way over the odds for the bitz AND I believe GW are in the throws of putting a stop to sites like this that break down box sets to sell commercially...so get what you can while you can. Of course they can't do anything about private sellers on ebay and such.

GW tried to but could only reach certain types of online retailers outside the UK. So safe for now. But yeah it's not cheap, it's not easy to get stuff so eBay might be your best bet.

You can also buy the terminus land raider upgrade kit from gw. That has more than enough las cannon's on it.

Land raider or Razorback las cannons should work.

Here's mine.

For the nose TL lascannon I just put the multilas barrel tip on the targeter and it works.

I had a pile of Predator turret lascannon lying about from my tank construction project so whomped up a couple of TLLC to be attached to the cockpit housings on either side. I am planning on putting another pair in a nose turret, although this has yet to arrive.

if you play IG, you should have plenty of lascannons from your HW sprues. I added a second lascannon to the nose lascannon for the easy twin-linked one.

For those under the wings, I simply stuck together two of the HW-team lascannons, who fit quite nicely if you cut and file a bit. I attached them to the weapons hardpoints on the wings after filing them down a bit, and added a lascannon power source to one side and the sight from the autocannon to the other. They're undercoated black right now, so I can't post pics, but it looks sleek and deadly, which is ok in my book.

I havent bought any HW teams & I assume they wont be cheap. Everythings out-of-stock but I can get the lascannon bit for about £1.50 which is fine. Plus I actually plan to use lascannon HWT in my infantry squads.

Lascannons from the HW teams work really well. I also glued lascannons on top of the multilaser and beefed up the muzzle of multilaser.

One of my Vendettas has three lascannons in a kind of mini-gun formation under the nose. They're glued to an engine piece from an old Sentinel and have various boxes on the side which look like ammo hoppers. I should post pics...
