So I just read some posts where some guys indicated they knew that new Sisters Of Battle and Grey Knight codices are in the works (?). Anyone care to speculate a bit more? Like when will they be realeased? Do you think they will keep both these armies as mostly medal models? Or will we see plastic box sets etc? Will they mess with Faith points?

Both Inquisitional codexes? I only heard about DH being hinted at, with no real evidence. I would say at least another year and a half or more.

Would be great if they could release plastic sets of Sisters models, so tired of my metal army.
I would love to see a sneak peak at the new troop list of the armies that can join a Witch Hunter army.
(one troop choice has been removed due to the 5:th edition Imperial Guard codex)

Warseer's Harry hinted at Grey Knights being a likely release next year, but no rumoured dates for Sisters. We also know that Grey Knights are gaining Jump Packs. Andy Hoare commented that he was looking at a possible Chimera variant for the Sisters, but there is no guarantee anything will come of this.
I expect that Sisters will lose Acts of Faith for something simpler and boring, the army will again gain no options and lose even more flavour, then half the units will have Rage.

Sisters have been one of my favorite parts of 40k since their release and I have played them since day one. I love the whole faith/ecclessiarchy/fanaticism/religious overtones of the sisters and associated priests, zealots, etc. that make up the ecclessiarchy and wish they would do a "CODEX: ECCLESSIARCHY", but don't expect it in my lifetime, and sadly I fear what you stated above is most likely true. I also predict we will get at least three more marine codexes prior to anything with sisters in it...
I was not thrilled with the decision to dump them into the WH codex, but then they have always been the red-headed stepchild of 40K so I wasn't surprised.
Sisters players are die hard loyalists though and will soldier on...

Yep, I think Elric's probably correct, I too see Acts of Faith going away much to my disapointment. I'll miss them because IMHO they do give some fun flavor to the army and they add a whole new dimension to the tactics of the game.
In regards to a 'new' transport, I wonder if the Repressor might become available in a common plastic kit (not Forge World). That would certainly match the trend we have been seeing lately.

I agree that the faith system is fun, but it is too complex/record intensive for the general streamlining that the new edition is based upon.
I'd like to see a redo of the exorcist that is all plastic and less like a giant pipe organ...

You kidding? And miss out on publishing two books and having two sets of releases? They wouldn't reduce the amount of releases they're having, they'll increase them.
I see us gaining a lot of new SoB and GK units, but for every one we gain, we'll lose an Inquisitorial unit.

Faith and Martyrdom rules are what make the codex so great; really hope they do not lose this. It would be nice if they would include some other "marine" only armour selections.
I'd really like to see a better list choic and the addition of neophyte/scout type units without the power armour

I wish there were rumors! I haven't heard anything only GK. That being said, unlike many people here I think that sisters will keep acts of faith. Probably slightly modified but acts of faith nonetheless. I also think that for the most part allies will be gone with the exception of the special assassin models which have always been available to all imperium armies. I also sincerely hope they fix arcoflaggelents, sisters repentia and penitent engines. And hopefully we will get repressors

Don't you know? Sisters are being remade into Ordo Hereticus Space Marines. From now on, all Inquisitors will be Special Space Marines. Grey Knights will still be Shiny Space Marines with Pointy Sticks and Guns of Space Demon killing, but their fluff will be retconned so that they only recruit from the Ultramarines, because Ultramarines are the best Space Marines.
The Deathwatch will also get a codex that gives all the info on their fluff. They also recruit only from the Ultramarines (who are the best Space Marines), and are much better than the Grey Viking Furry Space Marines or the Angry Black Red X Space Marines who Flip Out All The Time.
After that, there will be Space Elf Marines, Spiky Marines, Green Muscular Numerous Space Marines, anime fan Space Communist Space Marines, and Undead Robot Space Marines who are very (x2) easy to paint.

Your a little late to the party; long term sisters players (self included) aren't really worried about said Inquision forces. What have they been around for about ten minutes?
It's time for GW to step up and do a proper All sisters or Codex ecclessiarchy dex. Shoehorning them into Codex: WH because they had to give them something comparable to the GK featured in DH ws a lazy design choice and one that needs to be rectified by giving sisters their own dex (but it won't we all know that).
Inqusition can have their own dex/dexes, but sisters are strong enough ( as a concept) to stand alone and their fanbase is one of the most loyal segments of the player population who have stood by the army through all the inattention, limited range that is all metal, no dex, eons between releases of models, etc., etc.
The sisters are a character force and deserve better then being an afterthought in another dex...

I did not play back then, but I believe Inquisitors were in Rogue Trader. They are as old as Space Marines, not a new fly-by. That said, they have never had a full army. After all, their fluff is that they just call up whatever they can to fight with them.
Inquisition should have been merged into Codex: Imperial Guard, as it would have made more sense like that. Inquisitor Lords as a HQ option which allow Storm Troopers to be taken as Troops and a single Officio Assassinorum operative to be taken as a `free' slot (like Honour Guard). Very simple thing they could have done to save upsetting a pocket of the fan-base.

I'd also like to see the sisters getting a major upgrade, with the
majority of units redone in plastic.
However,I was told 'indirectly' from GW that the reason the Sob were
not upgraded was that compared to other armies, there was not enough
people worldwide using them.I think a figure of 2000 was mentioned,
can't remember if that was for the world or just UK.
I should point out that I got told this back when the Witchunters codex
was released,so hopefully this attitude has changed.
Apart from the Sisters,I'd like to see an Adeptus Mechanicus range.
Hell anything but more Marine codexes!

The Sisters rules in the WH Codex were hardly an 'afterthought'.
We are talking army lists/designated codexes. Yes I am well aware that 40K Inquisitors go way back in the canon of 40k, but as a unique army centered on them they do not, heck i have underwear older then the ordo codexes. The ordo codexes were marketing tools to sell models to be used to fight chaos as part of the EOT period.
So while I can feel for you if you bought into them heavily as a force I think it's wishful thinking to think they will survive long term as a list, and certainly not without major changes and cuts. The new direction of 40K is on streamlined lists and dexes with little to no customization. The current WH/ DH dexes do not fit this mold with their ability to pull from multiple dexes and the uber levels of army customization, etc. It was fun while it lasted, but it is going the way of the dinosaur in 40k and the ordo dexes will follow suit...
We all know how GW operates. Core armies (starting with the beloved Space marine cash cow at the center) are safest long term bets. Specialty/flavor of the month armies are dead men walking from the moment their lists and models hit the shelves, and i had a heavily converted and painted genestealer cult army back int he day to prove it, and in case i was deluding myself that it was a fluke happening GW confirmed it when they axed my LATD as well a number of years back now. lUckily I sold off my massive DG army prior to the debacle that is the current chaos codex or I might have found a bridge to jump off of. Those cool gimmick lists they like to stuff into books to sell models (Speed fraks, LATD, Ulthwee strike force, etc., etc.) are very risky investments as they are outside the circle of core. The ordo dexes are closer to the fringe then the core as well, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them majorly altered and probably nixed sooner rather than later.
Ok so they burned me twice before i came to fully understand the circle of life present in the GW universe. Heck If I didn't already own massive amounts of sisters stuff that I have been playing since 2nd edition with a heavy investment of painting/modeling time in it already over the past many many years I certainly would have zero confidence starting them now. They have that shadow hanging over them...
GW needed a sorta elite element to play the role that GK play in the DH book. Sisters was a fringe force that they had no desire to do anything proppa with and so used them to fill a hole.
That is indeed lazy in my book.
Sisters deserve a dedicated codex pure and simple at the very least. Ideally I would rather have a CODEX:Ecclesiarchy filled with expanded sisters, priests, return of HQ choices like Confessors, Missionaries and some new ones of similar religious bent. It should also include the zealous rabble that makes up the ecclessiarchy such as fraternis militia, zealot mobs, a few more versions of penitent engines, Named characters like Urian jacobson etc. ,etc. It would be a glorious book rich in imagery, fluff and the stuff that is the core of the look/feel of the 40k universe. You and I both know however that instead we will get yet another handful of Spheez mahrine codexes of one form or another instead long before we see new sisters rules in print...

Codex: Inquisition would be really, really cool. The current two codexes are stupid. Daemonhunters have to work daemons into everything they do and Witchhunters have to do the same with witches. It's stupid. No other armies are that specialized. As someone who actually gives a rat's ass about the fluff, it's too much to work around.
How about grey knights, sisters, and inquisitors being separate things that MAY or MAY NOT work together?

Fluff is easy to work out with Sisters. It is not only `Witches'. There is a simple check-list that works for me:
1) Are you a Witch?
2) Are you a Xenos?
3) Are you a Heretic (Chaos)?
4) Are you an Abhuman?
5) Are you any other form of Mutant or Genetic Abomination (incl. Space Marines)?
6) Did you just dare deploy opposite me?

To be honest I'd like to see DH and WH combined into one codex, along with all the inquisitorial stuff. That way you could have a hereticus inq with SoB in tow, as well as some guard in there, or a malleus inq with GK in tow, or pure SoB, or pure GK etc with all the options being similar.

Yes but the genestealer cult list was in a magazine (I heard that somewhere) the list was in one of those old magazines (cant remeber the name.) Why do you think they'll keep an army they
A: dont sell any models for, so no profit
B:not even a porper codex: not much profit.
No money. it was pointless.
Although with LOD I know what you mean, I wasnt in the hobby while they where around, but I heard that it was a cool codex. I do feel sorry for you there,
Also, have You seen BOLS fly lords of terra? they made a genestealer cult codex. tested and copyrighted. you should check it out.

You aren't unique. Most armies in the game 'sides Marines have eons between releases. Orks waited 10 years. Dark Eldar are still waiting.
Yeh but at least they had plastic troops at the time. no such luck for SOB.
Also, knowing this probably means nothing else, at least the dark eladar got an awesome update, have The SOB? no, they havent even got one yet!
