Ill go ahead and place alot of options and different variants of marines and army types... Personally I dont think that people will be able to defeat heavy mech imperial guard simply as the codex allows for 9 heavy support options its just to difficult to deal with and at 2500 points you have the ability to take a massive amount of not only ordance but a ungodly amount of blast templates. Add in one of the best vehicles hand down in the game and you have something that I feel will win the Hard Boyz tourney.

Feel free to answer below with the type of army such as Imperial guard Valkyrie Spam etc.. Also, let me know if I missed a army I am pretty sure that is all of them though.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

You forgot Black Templars.

I think Orcs will win. I shudder to think of that many of them coming at me.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you

I think Black Templars will surprise someone. It's basically 2,440 points of army and 60 points of Preferred Enemy for everyone.

You never know, though! Sometimes the army everyone's expecting isn't the one that wins

IG specifically me....

MUHAHAHAHAHAA

I like my mech list and I think it'll be one like mine that wins it maybe not me but someone will find that killer combo. Its a rough list to beat if someone does it'll be an ork player probly I always hate fighting orks there so stupid with all the bodies kinda hard to keep stopping them even with all the blasts.

I'd think IG would take it if for nothing more then by numbers... I think alot of people are going to be doing alot of stuff with the new codex. So the guard will take it with what they are good at numbers.

John,I would LIKE to say DE, just to float my own boat.

But I think there are many vetted players out there abso-freakin-lutely psyched to get the recently 'unshelved' guard on the table. I expect the raw pecentage of (experienced) guard players, coupled with their shiny new 'dex to have the inherent advantage.

Chaos of some form..... I would think a lot of old IG armies are getting dusted off and will be fielded.

Imperial Guard, through sheer weight of numbers (I mean players, not models on the table).

New codex = one billion identical lists all raring to go.

Gray Knights FTW!

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

I can understand Tau still being at zero, but I thought the Woofs would show a little blind & misguided faith.

The problem is that Vendettas and Psyker Battle Squads are to inexpensive couple with the ability to reduce vast amount of kill points due to Squadron Rules. That and Imperial Guard can put out such a large volume of armour as to make it almost impossible to deal with.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

Orks are still the toughest kid on the block I think. Guard are good, but even they can have trouble bringing enough accurate firepower to destroy the horde.

-my 2 cents.

It's not the accurate weapons hordes need to worry about...

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

I thought I would play Demonhunters so I could sit back and shoot psycannons and hope shrouding protects me, and have some land raiders to reach out and touch some tanks.

Now that no one is selecting the Space Wolves, I might need take them out of their 2nd edition hibernation and let the big dogs run.
