I think the most purchased issue of Playboy I've ever sold was the one with Jessica Alba near nude on the cover because everyone thought she was doing a photo spread(she had an interview in the mag).

Thanks for reminding me of that crushing disappointment. I had blocked it out with months of therapy. They should rename the magazine to bait and switch.

To the "it's not about tits and ass" crowd... Yes it is. The whole premise of Playboy and magazines of that paticular genre is to see attractive woman (alright there are some mags for the ladies as well) butt ass nekkid (and performing all sorts of interesting acts if ya get a good one lol). For Playboy, they're pretty classy so they score the celebrities. Dude (A) says, "Hey man did you here that (Smokin hot celebrity X) did a photo spread for Playboy?" Dude (B) yells as he's running out the door, wallet at the ready, "No ing way! I gotta see this!"

For the unabashed computer game, table top strategy, D&D playing turbo nerd such as myself, Olivia Munn nekkid for the world to see could only be topped by her doing a lesbian scene with Kari Byron (the Mythbusters chick) lol. After purchasing the Magazine, seeing the photo spread with nothing but Maxim/FHM style teaser photos, and weeping uncontrollably for three hours, I'm left with an emptiness inside that no ammount of World of Warcraft, or Starwars can fill. I feel so... betrayed. Olivia! WHY!?

I've read the articles before, all mine are all 2004 issues though from when I stole them from my dad though. Now there is the internet for if I wanna do that, which isn't often.

Playboys used to be a good way to make money in High school, getting them from Borders then selling them to underclassmen at a high than normal price.

Now thats the real value of a skin mag...

The only thing it has going for it is that it often manages to convince some rather famous ladies to get their kit off. Other than that I really dont get it.
