These have been in various states of completion and then stripped and repainted since my illnesses last year. You may have seen 'em in a different state then.

These are fantastic. Are these kit-bash models, greenstuffed by you, or FW?

All the above! All kitbashed from old models mixed with new. Some greenstuff added to all minis (some more than others) some FW stuff in the mix and even a pigiron head or three. Just a big mish-mash of stuff and putty.

The photos actually make them look alot brighter than they appear in person.
They are a different shade than most Nurglies and I have blue in the shading also, but they don't look quite so super-bright.

@jamesearle0 Yup! I used a ton of old plastic Goliaths and old plastic Chaos Warriors along with any spare bit I could find and whatnot.

I have 155 of these guys built and primed. I have a of work to do. A few of them have been painted and stripped and such but most of them..(about 135 - 140) have just been primed and haven't been seen before.

Pretty sweet, well painted too.

A few more that I am working on at the moment. I had hoped to have them done this weekend, but we had a B-movie night instead and watched some of the worst films ever.

@NaZ. I haven't really started on any vehicle painting yet. I pretty much suck at painting those, so i have been holding off until I figure out what to do with all the tanks.

@albinoork: The bases are painted Dark Flesh, a random assortment of flock and sand that I made years ago is glued to the top. I usually cut away some of the base (at least on most of them) and greenstuff it underneath to make a small puddle or pit. I then add green ink to water effects and pour it in the pit. I also usually add a small clear bead into the pit to make it look bubbly or whatever. It is all pretty simple.

Brilliant execution of an awesome concept! They look 'fantastic' as someone already said.

The colour scheme is pure awesome as well. Reminds me of that Nurgle army that was featured in WD ages ago. But these guys have much better balance of colour and have been painted with FAR more care and skill.

You can't see it that much in the pics, but the color scheme starts out as blue. It is based dark blue that is blended up to Scaly Green (or VGC Scurf green) and then blended into the edges os snot green. then I final highlight of camo green (kinda yellowish looking).

I then add a rust mixture that i made from VMC Smoke, VMC orange and some VGC Dead white to some of the areas of green and most of the areas of bultgun metal.

I add some other little rust spots of just orange paint GW or Vallejo doesn't matter.

I usualy rub the excess oranges off with my finger as I paint it on, if there is still too much, i go back and drybrush some boltgun metal very lightly.

The grays are my least favorite. I hate the way the grays look :(.

Some of the other geen items are just catachan green with camo green highlights.

I also take some Asurman blue and some devlan mud and paint it into shaded areas at random spots. That sort of helps the blend and adds alittle depth and.. splotchiness of Nurgle.

Here are a few more that are about 90% done. I may take a group pic of them all when they are based tomorrow.

@Tinfoil B-movie is definitely the feel I'm going for. A ragtag, almost comedic, force that has risen up against the imperium. Pit slaves, Miners, Scavvies, Near brainless servitors, Mutie revolutionaries etc. ect. All joining up under the banner of Nurgle! The chaos god that truly loves his followers

I'm working on another 15 of them right now, but work and visitors this week may slow me down a bit. Main thing is I need to stay motivated to continue painting.... that has always been the hardest for me and I have dozens of half completed projects to prove it :(

These have a great vibe going for them. i'm now tempted to make at least one zombie unit for my traitorguard army now.

Just some group shots of the army so far. To keeps things rolling as I work on the latest that I am painting. Hope to have the new troopers done by Sunday night if company and my boss/wife permit.

Had to break the pics up into groups of seven

Here is my banner bearer! Cobbled together, primed, painted, based, sealed in one day! Yay! that is a first for me.

It is a Banner/Icon Bearer for my Traitor Nurgle IG. She is holding her own head to see and the banner is crammed in her neck hole







Just a model I did up real fast for a Papanurgle.com mission to do a banner this month.

These are all really great,very nice conversions & painting,I hope that my Nurgle traitors turn out as cool.

and here are 4 others that are nearing completion. They need to have the rust drybrushed over with some metals and some small highlights here and there, then they are off to basing and sealing.




I have been uncharacteristically fast with painting and/or staying on target with the hobby lately. I have to hurry and get as much as I can before the spell wears off.

That headless standard bearer is a perfect fit for that base model.
