Are there any Wing Bits out there that would look good on a Crisis or Broadside suit? I am not sure if Demon wings would look good but maybe something with a bit of a mechanical look (maybe if painted right ) Look to them?

They are too blocky to have wings.

Now if you have jet pack and fins , that would work.

Yeah, I can't see mechanical wings looking sensible. Ditto for organic wings, unless you have some kind of semi-organic theme going on (e.g. an 'angel' theme with Pegasus wings?).

Some sort of alternate jump packs would seem to fit Tau better.

There are also the Hammerhead etc vehicles to consider - if you're going to change the Broadsides, will the rest of the army match?

I was just thinking of something in wing form. Maybe like those weird drone things from Forge world I saw for Tau. Weird flying drones that has wings.

Maybe Air plane wings or something of the sort? Even if it doesn't make sense I would still like to see it with maybe daemon wings or something.

Just looking for something that would look cool (not make much sense) but not look really dumb.

just make some from plasti card, just overlapping section of 0.5 mm card, that looks nice and inorganic, so it might look ok on a broadside

A nice set of technowings.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Probably a bit small, but here are the mechanical wings my wife used to convert her St. Celestine.

I think jet wings would look better if thats what you really want to go with. Organic wings WILL look weird and gawdy. Thoe robo wings would look better if thats just what you had to have

First thing that comes to mind when I hear "Mech wings for a Broadside" is this.

If you're going to go for mecha wings, try to make them blocky to go with the rest of the suit. Maybe only two blades per wing that look like they can fold up and not be stuck open and in the way when firing the railguns. Maybe like in the above picture, but not all the other blades the Freedom's wings actually have. I think it's an interesting way to show Advanced Stabilization System though.

Although if a Crisis Suit is going to have wings, the type of wings the V2 has seem better, but way harder to model. If anyone does try to do wings similar to it, it would probably be best to use clear plastic.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures of it using it's wings, but it looks like this.

Then Destiny Gundam basically took the idea and used kind of the same thing, but the wings were more broad and actually had physical blades to go with it, while the V2's wings were entirely energy.

What I'm saying is that, for Tau wings it might look more in place if they weren't physical wings but simply thrusters that give off the image of wings. For the Broadside though this won't work at all and will have to go with physical wings as it is supposed to be slower than a Crisis Suit because it gave up the Jet Pack so it could power the Railguns.

You could always do something like the aquila class gunship, where the "feathers" on the wings are infact exaust vents.

You could use organic wings but they woulld have to be very thin. Codex Tau says that the primitive air cast tau floated over hot air thermals with membranous (bad spelling) wings. It would also make for a great conversion, like you could have smaller crises suits with wings.
