Yay finished them today despite the poor lighting cloudy day . But the refreshing breeze again was very helpful.

Ah.... i think i see it now too.

Beach tend to reflect part of the sky , thus shouldnt be that dark?
I guess mine looks as if im looking down from a plane lol.

I love your checks in the middle of the Bad glyph but I have to ask - are they hand painted or the small transfers from the vehicle transfer sheet?

Thanks , they are painted ( however! the grids are made by pens first) then fill the rest in. ( yep i can even mess that up and paint in wrong squares rofl )

ahh that reminds me i need to clean up the white lines thats sticking out as well as color the skull (forgot since the shade is similar lol )

Wait I am confused now, what is the mudkip for?

I am not sure how to translate that into the models.

Mudkip = the over all color going to be used. The whole "package"
For example its going to have lots of dark gray and light gray , and some contrasting red and yellow.

Really nice paint job, but can I make one minor suggestion... Maybe you could have removed the feet and pinned shortened legs into the base so that the feet are submerged along with the bits of metal they are walking past. Tiny point, but otherwise great minis

Good point Captain Jack but the kans could be on top of some rocks. They are still cool i think the deff dreads should be the red and Grey scheme IMHO.

Did you use joint compound/spackle for the waves? I'd like to base some eldar models in a similar manner, but at the surfline where the water meets the sand.

Yes , but , the kan in the larger bases are originally made with Aleene's True Snow ( its only sold during christmas here ) so running out of that i looked for alternatives.
