The codex has been out for a bare two weeks. FAQs take a little longer than two weeks. We'll be lucky to see a FAQ by the end of the year, if at all.

That has nothing to do with the size of the Ogryn.
It's a fluff rule that's been there for as long as I can remember:
Ogryn are afraid of enclosed spaces.
But Terminators in Valkyries is a bit of a stretch either way...considering you need to y'know, have Terminators and Valkyries in the same army.
Which isn't doable outside of Daemonhunters/ IG allies...

They get in enclosed spaces if a officer or a commissar tell them to.
The terminators can't fit in a rhino because it is too small for them to get in and it can fit power armored marines.
So bulky models like terminators or ogryn can't fit in them.

Firstly Ogryns don't like flying, secondly Terminators have always been able to ride in a Valkyrie since it was first in IA. Lastly, GW ruled that way for the ard boyz, because the combo of GK termies scouting 1st turn assault is really broken. The passenger compartment is much larger than a rhino...making that comparison is ridiculous.

i play IG and i have to agree that termies in the valk is complete garbage and means you have lost the respect of every1 in the gaming community because you will do anything no matter how cheap to win. i would rather lose honorably than win because of a cheap strat like that.

The Valkyrie's passenger compartment is bigger than the one in a Land Raider, so I doubt size would really be a problem. Not that GW's models are true to scale.
The fluff reason for Orgyns not being able to ride in Valkyries is probably the combination of a confined space and flying that would make them go apeshit bananas. Sure you could force them in there with a commisar, but the Valkyrie would probably crash from the massive bulk in the back shifting from side to side trying to find a a way out of the contraption.
Still, termies in a Valkyrie is cheesy obviously.

while i agree that the faq will in reality take a few months more to actually come out, the codex came out may 4th and your post is july 16. thats almost two and a half months, not weeks. i'm sure the fine folks here at dakka who work on the codex could have published an faq addressing 95% of the issues that will ever arise from the codex within two weeks of the release if they didn't have to drop through corporate hoops. the proposed FAQ thread was in the double digit page numbers within days.
