I must say, this is a brilliant piece of work. I'm a writing student, and I simply can't resist sinking my teeth into work of this kind. I hope that you're writing more of this? It's awesome. The theory of the Hive Mind and the synchronization of the Tyranids is well-meshed with your ways of describing a loud scene.
