So, so far, nobody likes any Eldar (good because I hate them) or other (meaning SM chapters, Ordo Xenos)

There are so many definitions of 'best' that this poll might be a bit pointless. Each army is, by themselves, good at something.

Orks are best on the charge into CC, they can pump out lots of shots but they aren't great at hitting their marks. Orks are also fun/easy to model and convert because there's no set rules most of the time, you can just go crazy with whatever was in your bitz box.

Space Marines are good in CC (Space Wolves move up to 'great' in CC) and good at shooting, they are also fairly mobile. If you just use "Codex: Space Marines" you can also get a bit of originality out of them, you don't have to play smurfs.

Eldar (And to some extent, dark eldar too) are also relatively good on the charge and are nice at shooting, they are also a highly mobile force, and focus a lot on trying to not get hit, they also get lots of mean psychic powers...which are not too difficult to counter, but do help.

Necrons are good at being annoying by not staying dead

And so on, it's hard to define which is 'best' because in the same game, one army will do really good at one thing and then totally blow at something else. (Example: Orks will sometimes do great on the charge, fail to kill the whole unit, get counter charged and die. Marines will sometimes fall due to 'cheep' Eldar psychic powers, and the same Eldar player may start losing if there's a psychic hood in the way of those doom spells.)

i know two people that play ork's and they are happy as can be, with their list's and conversion's hell, i know of a guy that did'nt even buy GW tanks but made them himself with well maybe a few parts from IG tank's.

I like Chao's but i guess i liked the 4th ed chaos, 5ed make's me sorta regret it.

I've sold so many armies. :(

God, I am so sick of Orks! That's all I see on the table these days! Yes, they're cool, but there's fifteen other armies!!

well, on topic, I voted for Witch Hunters. A well balanced codex that's fun (for me) that doesn't seem to rely on cheese.

@starbomber109: Meaning what do you think the best army is, as in their 'special' things, what do you think is the best of the best, it's hard to explain.

@corpsesarefun: Thanks for that, forget about the other post. Other can then mean Zombie Imperial, because that DOESN'T come under anything. (not even Chaos)

@Illeix: Good for you, I'm just getting into Witchhunters, and also if you play them please can you go to my new post 'Canoness Weaponry' to help me find out what weapon I got in my pack, because I have no idea what it is!!

Well, I voted for Orks, Space Marines, and Eldar.

The army that I like is Kult of Speed (because I like racing types of things ), but both Space Marines and Eldar have options for a totally mounted force (Jet Bikes Grav Tanks Rhinos bikes and speeders) so I like them too. (In short, army that I think is best? A mechanized army .)

Dark eldar obviously.

They are really strong plus no one plays them so no one knows how to play against them.

Those two things make them the strongest army.

Looking at the models, I find they are cheeper in cost than those for other armies (yay!) but not so great in quality (less yey) and to top it off everyone seems to really hate those models (not yay at all :( )

I say:

CSM because of the coolest specialist troops ever! FnP, AP3 Bolters and 4+ Invul, FC and 4A, and I5 are all super cool! Especially with fearless....

Chaos Daemons for awesome CC troops as well as army wide Eternal Warrior and Invul saves!

And Daemonhunters because, lets be honest, PAGK will pwn the backsides off any other troop out there all round. And GK Termies are just.....wow. (If a little expensive )

It depends. If you have a very very experienced/good player, then that player will excel in orks.
For an avg player, IG, space marines, CSM, Eldar will be stronger and orks will be ruin in their hands.

Orks.
If you win, you can say that Orks rock.
If you get a draw, you can say that "we'll get yuu anuffer time" and still say that Orks rock.
If you lose, you can say that you played too Orky. And after that, say that Orks still rock.
