I know this has probably been discussed a lot but who are the Primarchs/Characters in this spread from the 40k rulebook:

I'm pretty sure thats Roboute Guilliman on the left, and I sort of have a feeling thats ferrus manus on the centre right,

Is it horus at the front and Leman Russ to the far left?

Help me to clarify

Those aren't Primarchs.

From left to right:

Ultramarine, probably a captain given the intricacy of the armor.

Inquisitor in power armor

Tech Priest or Adept of Mars

High Ranking officer of the Imperial Guard or possibly the Imperial Navy (although I'd lean towards Guard)

Your side is always the "will of the people" the other side is always fundamentalist, extremist, hatemongers, racists, anti- semitic nazies with questionable education and more questionable hygiene. American politics 101.

Oh right, thanks...

I always thought Primarchs because i thought that was RG on the left. I was sure that was aa tech priest too because of the red garb.

TY for clarification.

Could the centre 1 (Inquisitor) perhaps be Inquisitor Torquemada Coteaz, sure i have seen a mini of him with a hawk/eagle on his arm

They represent the Imperium united, its each faction, Adepts, Space marines, Guard and the Inqusition.

Ive had to point this out several times already when people ask me what primarchs, i think they are.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Now im looking at it there's alot of things in this picture, see on the far left there's a strange orange, feiry glow could represent the forces of chaos and the constand threat they are to the Imperium. In the background there's a faded Imperial sign, possibly representing the fading of the Emporer?
The Tech priest is holding a book, possibly the book containing the ancient history of the Dragon?

Am i looking into this too deeply?

Care to enlighten us, or are you just trolling? The only thing I see as a minor error is that he said "Adepts" instead of "Adeptus Mechanicus", as well as misspelling Inquisition.

Anyway, I think the possible Guard person on the far right might possibly be linked to the commissariat. Maybe I just get that impression because of the black long coat with red cuffs, which just screams "commissar" to me. It could just be a decorated officer, though.

If it was not for the metals, I would say the one on the far right looks more like a Rouge Trader then a fleet officer. Possibly a planetary governor. Just seems too flashy for fleet. But I would not be surprised if it was.

Adepts is shorter then Adeptus Mechanicus.

Or alternatively, there is an orange light in the left corner, they are in an imperial palace (thus imperial signs) and the admech priest is holding a book because they prize knowledge?

and yes i think you are

Personally I can't understand how people confuse this picture for Primarchs. For one, why are two of the Primarchs head and shoulders taller than the other two, who are not even wearing power armor?

Secondly, did people not notice the lead figure is COVERED in the stylized =I=? Including the giant FLAMING ONE HOVERING OVER HIS HEAD?!

Also: This is by far my favorite piece of 40k art in the Rulebook.

One could argue that they are covered under Inquisition, as the militant arm of the Ordo Hereticus. But where, I wonder, are the Adeptus Arbites?

At that rate, apparently, the Arbites are covered under Inquisition, too.

And for all the coolness of their armor, none seem to be wearing helmets, or screaming.

What the heck does that mean? I saw the picture on Google Images when I searched for Leman Russ, and I joined the site just now, well, because it's very cool.
