Well, then I got started on another project... This time it's a Necromunda gang based on the daemonettes. I've always had something for the figures and I had to use them somehow - and since they don't fit into my Witch Hunter army, this seemed like the perfect solution!
I've created a new gang - and it was a bit different as a Necromunda-virgin But I hope they worked out ok... I guess I can't post more than the fluff in P&M blogs, right?
Anyway, here's the first picture of 6 out of my 7 Pleasure Seekers (gangers/mutants). By the 1st of September I'll buy the figures for my Mistress (leader) and two Toxic Beauties (heavies) and later on I'll need some ghouls (or...?) as Slaves (kinda like zombies)

I like it a lot, Necromunda Gangs are such a great way to do a smaller squad project without investing in a whole army!

The idea with Lucretia was to make her hold her gun like a modern gangster, but I'm not quite satisfied with it myself though... My fiancé loves the way she poses, so I don't know if I'm gonna change it or not...

The uhm... Pose is fine. It's the angle. For loss of a better term, it looks like she's bearing a mad stiffy. And I'm not talking about a corpse.

Hmm... The angle of the Bolter doesn't work for Lucretia - It looks like she's just struggling to lift it. Likely because the bolter is just too bulky a weapon to be handled like that. I'd maybe give her something smaller. Might help the pose

Vaarna is thusfar my favorite pose. She looks like she's in her "I'm going to rip your spleen out through your eye sockets" stance

i agree...imagine seeing the sillouete of her standing at the top of a flight of stairs at sunset. crap your self scary.

I like the idea - but can you get that many bolters in a starting gang? They're gonna cost a LOT....!

I forgot to mention that all the bolters count as laspistols... I can't afford to buy them, so I had to settle with what I could steal from my finacés bit-boxes and find in my own...

Well, personally Lucretia has become one of my favourites coz of the pose... it sorta mocks the modern "gangster" attitude... But I see what you mean, it looks a bit funny... which I've come to like myself...

Hiya! I like the modeling work and weapon swaps. I know how hard it can be to get thses girls looking right. Daemonettes have such tiny wrists that virtually any hand you pick will look like boxing glove. I do have to ask though, what's the Fluff for this gang? Do they use prostetics and makeup to look like daemonettes, or are they the real thing? Because it would be hard to imagine anyone getting that many gifts from Slaanesh without any hideous mutations.

You mean Lucretia And yea, you can Bitz order Laspistols from most sites for around $20 CAD for a good sized pile of them. Not sure what the cost would be in Denmark but I'd guess somewhere close to an equivalent, if not cheaper because there're hundreds of internet bitz order companies in Europe.

Yep. Looking at them for Catachan Beret heads. Be waiting a few weeks for freight, but it'd still be cheaper than a lot of Bitz dealers in NA :(

I've come to this conclusion 'bout the Bolters-counts-as-laspistols: My fiancé and I have just recieved some stuff from ForgeWorld, and there happens to be one Laspistol that he's not gonna use... I'll try to make my last Ganger/Pleasure Seeker with the Laspistol, and then I'll decide what looks best... I've come to like the contrast in little girls/big guns, and I'm thinkin' the Laspistols will make them looke like some kinda weaklings... So... I'll see what it looks like, when the last one is made... soon!

Some of the gang are mutants, but the mutations such as their feet/hooves are somehow common in the gang and unusable (is that even a word? ^_^) since I haven't been able to find any suitable feet, which could be used. Some of the mutations are hideous too... the faces of the daemonettes are not a pretty as those of other female figures and their hooves aren't that sexy either ;-)

I suppose it depends who those hooves belong to... I think you fine with posting fluff for your gang here. So, long as pertains to the project. Most posters do, and I'm certainly guilty of it.

Lord knows, I post tonnes of fluff and battlereps and othjer junk in my P&M blogs, and it seems to go down well with the crowd around here.

Oh, excellent start on the gang by the by, really liking where you´re going. I would invest in more vbaried weapons though, both for playability, and to make the models more individual.

Shotguns and bolt pistols especially should be easy pickings if you go to either of the "Faraos Cigarer" stores, loads of marine players there, who have spares from their scouts. I know I do at least. And laspistols should be possible as well. Do a bits swap with someone?
