Ah, I get these bursts of manic painting of vehicles, (I also have some other projects for friends to finish) but the inspiration to get them done hits me and well....you know how things go with me, the third camo bit, decals, touch ups, details like vision-blocks and lights etc, then the dirtying them up a tad bit.
Now for the Gecko! I made rear handrails/tie down points as well.

Well, that was supposed to be an antenna! coming as it were from the radio mount. I shall have to make a knotted rope effect for the tips to the bodies.

Nice stuff Shas! You are an armor-painting machine! You ever consider airbrushing camo? I have never done that myself, but on other things it has really sped up painting, and you can get cool blend patterns.

I have, costs of airbrush and then support elements have been a bit restrictive on me, as well as I sometimes tend to "shake" a bit with that darned arthritis of mine.

going airbrush is a whole new big leap in the hobby... needs lots of things like more space and tools and all this stuff... something i too am not able to afford or provide... but boy i would love to make my fingers want to try out one of these "paintguns" ^^

The ARV has the job of repair/or recover, it also can use the ability as ammo carrier if I have artillery, or can be an objective for the battles that use placed objectives on the table. It is unfortunately not armed itself.

Being mostly open, the back tires will leave splatter as well, the fron tires have the fenders, which will also make some interesting patterns, but get ready to see a wiper pattern across muddy glass!
