Well, in a way, she's supposed to lie. The bigger her image, the more people come to see her show. Her livelihood is based around her ability to maintain a name for herself.

The events in Ponyville not only destroyed her home (she lived in that cart), but they destroyed her ability to ever work again.

I like this follow up fic in response to the Mare Do Well episode, talking about bragging and popularity and such.

P.S. Has anyone submitted anything to Equestria Daily? Do they normally reply to emails to acknowledge their receiving of a submission?

I am told that they will usually respond when they approve or disapprove whatever you submitted.

I believe it's just upon approval then, as I've received nothing along the lines of "don't send gak like this in."

As an aside, it was okay to watch, but still got tiresome near the end of the first season. It's no DC Animated Universe, but it's still one of the better series I've watched.

Is there any really big pony related news? I mean I really just watch the show, and that's about it.

Except for the impending holiday episode and slowly increasing media attention, not really.

Pinkie Pie sings in the Xmas episode it seems.

I doubt that the impending media attention will kill the show,

and I'm not too excited about Pinkie Pie singing. She's a great singer (voice actress that is), but she almost sings... too much, ya know?

Also, I think I'm liking Rarity more and more. While originally I thought she was a donkey-cave, she seemed to at least learn her lesson, and it is pretty cool to be a successful pony that's moving on up... the the east side... in a deluxe stable in the sky...

I'm expecting it to be a short "Pinkie" song to go with a longer group song. It'd be a great way to end out the year for the series.

The musical numbers are one of my favorite things about the show.

I liked fluttershy's song in the episode with Tank , but then again she's probably my favorite character because she can be a bamf when she needs to. Also that deep voice was hilarious

Yeah, Fluttershy and RD played off each other really well. For that one, pairing two very different characters (personality-wise) for a duet paid off.

2 days until Spike gets an episode. And I guess I should mention that Celestia is best pony.

I'm really curious about this upcoming episode, but I also don't want to overthink it.

I mean, how are they going to shrink Spike afterwards? Celestia-hoof-wave it? Or will Twilight become even more powerful and magic him back to normal? Either way, should be interesting. Spike always has some really fantastic lines.
