I am always amazed how ponies can never fail to dial back my sliding scale of Idealism and Cynicism...

Working in Radio, this is needed to prevent me from just becoming another pool of anger, hate and rage...

That was a refreshing take on dragon hoarding that actually made a fair bit of sense.

All in all, great episode.

I loved how Fluttershy was able to keep up with RD and how stupidly powerful Twilight Sparkle is getting.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

I wonder if this means Spike will never age so long as he never really collects any possessions, or if that's a separate process. He never did grow wings when he got big in this episode.

Heh, I wonder how many of today's kids got the King Kong ref in this episode...

It's a pretty commonly spoofed scene if nothing else, the kind of thing where you know it's a spoof and maybe even know what of despite not having seen the original. IE, I know when people make references to Silence of the Lambs though I've never actually seen the movie because you see spoofs of it all the time. Also I'm going to bet more kids get the King Kong reference than the Big Lebowski reference.

Also, I'm just going to mention.... Stupid neighbor's internet! It's doing that annoying stuttering drop thing where it loses connection for a minute or two every 10-15 minutes or so. So annoying.

The musical numbers are one of my favorite things about the show.

Ah, MLP: The only show where I think the musical numbers are any good. How long until the next episode hits youtube?

I'm not sure what time they tend to go up. All I know is they air on Saturday mornings, and they're on YouTube by the time I get up in the afternoon.

Well, it's been mentioned and shown that Spike has grown since he hatched, so it's possible that a dragon's natural growth is a lot slower.

Also, that episode was way, way better the second time around. With friends. And a stash.

Pinkie Pie made a goof. She said "somebody" instead of "some pony"

lol, what corpses said.

I know that they try their hardest to make sure that pony is said, but I definitely noticed that because the whole everybody/everypony thing really bugged me at first.

Uh, big Spike had no wings. Kinda odd.

Perhaps only the really old dragons grow wings with their greed... Kind of like how you have to ask to super size your big mac... A large just doesn't cut it...

Or maybe there are different types of dragons in Equestria.

It could be that he didn't grow older, and thus grow wings, just rather got bigger.

There is that, though I thought they said that Dragons grew because of their hoards... I may have to rewatch it... does anyone have the exact line that Twilight says?

Growth and physical maturity are entirely separate in dragons, it seems.

That too would make sense... Though it doesn't make sense for something to not be born with a physical feature (barring certain frog-like creatures, etc..)... Eventually Spike would have to grow wings, and THEN learn how to use them... I mean it's not like other flying animals begin life without at least forms of the limb that eventually work...

Celestia really hates dragons, and sent their biological functions to the metaphorical moon.

With magic.
