But other flying animals (ie - in the real world) don't get their wings later. They also don't grow because of greed, and grow so much so quickly without any resources ingested. In other words; Spike's growth breaks the laws of physics. I think we can safely say the other parts of his anatomy/physiology do as well.

Also, I like the "maturity and growth are separate things with dragons" idea. True, even while Spike was a huge, muscular dragon - not only did he have no wings (I was expecting him to grow some, actually, would have been pretty epic), but did anyone else think he looked a bit... chubby? Like baby-chub. lololol

Also, I loved the doctor. "I think I know what the problem is... he's a dragon!"

And did anyone else squee at Spike making a hissing noise while flicking his forked tongue and his transparent eyelids? Or maybe I just love reptiles too much. Yay snakes!

EDIT: Also, totally loved the Rarity episode. Jus' sayin'.

EDIT2: Okay, edit spam, but - Just started on Episode 11. Is it just me, or is Canterlot getting a lot of screentime all of a sudden? What, Ponyville too country now?

It's probably because Twilight and friends are gaining some fame. I mean with all that they do, and being best bros with Celestia probably helps them get those fancy train tickets to Canterlot

Not really. Just saying that I find this to be the most tedious, uninteresting interweb meme that's hit for a good while. I dunno why, might be because it seems overly contrived. Of course if people get some satisfaction from it then who am I to complain, but it's all over deviantart aswell. It's a bit like everyone in your favourite bars constantly talking about cement or something. I've got nothing against cement but I'd be irritated to find that cement was a popular topic of conversation in all my hangouts.

Like football.

Well, if the cement-related conversations in all of your bars are held in sound-proofed rooms that clearly say "Cement Conversation Rooms," and you don't like conversations about cement, why would you go into one of the rooms?

Also, dropping the metaphor now.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

To tell the people in the cement conversation rooms that I consider their cement conversations a bit superficial and needy. To encourage them to give up their cement conversations. Check out the clunge. Maybe score some coke.

I kind of liked the play episode... But you'd think it would be the perfect venue for a musical episode. Perhaps spontaneous singing is more enjoyed in Equestria than Musical Theatre...

You're confusing people who enjoy talking about cement with people who actually enjoy cement.

I thought the play was kind of Meh. Not bad, but probably my least favorite episode of the season.

Isn't that half the point with threads like this though? Aside from being quirky. Earnest h8rz point out the incredible pointlessness of it, earnest advocates defend the quirky, amusing behaviour. Some people get angry, fun is had. Surely there must have been some of this already. The thread has reached 90 pages, even legitimate topics don't go that far without some shenanigans.

Christ I'm bored.

This just show's me you are a pointless troll. And here is what i say. Leave you pointless little thing, as no one cares what you think. Just because you think we are strange you think you can say what you want? Newsflash: Your opinion means nothing to us, perhaps you should watch the show, the object for your unfounded hate.

This is my last word, unless you directly insult any of my Brony brothers or sisters.

I don't hate the show, I just think the meme is too contrived. And I don't think you're strange, glass ninja. I don't think you're interesting and quirky either though. You should read the OP, you're supposed to be trolling with love and tolerance. I'm not feeling it.

How it is it a meme? You're it is a television show that has a following. You don't see people walking around in thick sunglasses, blue shirts, dancing against a wall saying "never gonna give, never gonna give!"

If there was one aspect of the show that was duplicated over and over and over, then that would be a meme.

I suggest you read The Selfish Gene

Both actually, I see where your argument is coming from, but your wording is incorrect. In this technological day, information spreads faster, so this "rage" of men who like the show is only so widespread because instead of having like "My Little Pony Adult Fan Club Local 246" we have threads like this and websites like Equestria Daily.

Bronies will only last as long as the show. There is no staying power with the fad. So it doesn't stand the test of time, thus there is no meme to be had.

It's not going to be like a drama teacher I had 6 years ago where he still believes Muppets are really for adults, and still watches old episodes. Nothing made within the past 20 years is really meant to last beyond its immediate life time.

Richard Dawkins and My little pony. You some sort of polymath? Dubious...

I suggest you read this. And report back. I'm thinking of getting something like it as an ironic coffee-table book, I'd appreciate your opinion. Bonfire of the Vanities and Jane Eyre are also good.

Actually I'm English education. I only read Dawkins because I used his book in a discussion and the evolution of language in today's society lol. I had to set up the idea of a meme before I could delve into an internet meme... I believe it was the only paper I've been able to use lolcats, internet memes, and feth in an academic paper.

Guys. Don't respond. Don't even acknowledge it. Any reaction at all gives room to the claim "Bronies flip gak when they're judged".

Not bad, a little bland though.

No in-depth on Discord/Alicorns, which was what I really wanted to know.

As for "Commander Hurricane" and "Tribe of mighty warriors", I think that flat-out confirms a military history in pony-kind.
