Anyone recommend any good PS3 games? So far I've played Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5. Beat KZ2 and got tons of medals online but it got boring. Beat RE5 a few times and unlocked all kinds of goodies and super powerful weapons, but I don't really think I'll be going back just to play through the game with this or that weapon or costume (yawn)

anything else that's good? I prefer action/adventure type games usually, but not the kind that require a hint book if you ever wanna beat it.

The Sega Megadrive (Genesis to you yanks) Collections pretty good for the Nostalgia factor.

Other than the few gems listed here theres very few PS3 only titles to pick from, I mean you can always dip into the Street Fighter 4's, Oblivions, Bioshocks and Fallout 3s etc but i'd imagine you have either owned or played them on the 360.

That being said theres always Metal Gear Solid 4 for sheer awesome over the topness (in true Kojima style) and Disgaea 3 if you like the whole FF tatics style of JRPG.

When you give total control to a computer, it’s only a matter of time before it pulls a Skynet on you and you’re running for your life.

I can't second (or third as the case maybe) Drake's Fortune: Uncharted enough. The game is fantastic.

Call of Duty: WaW single player sucks bad but Online is a lot of fun (Hardcore Mode only) if you like shooters.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare single player is good but short. Online is also a blast (only in Hardcore mode, again).

The aforementioned Little Big Planet is genius.

Infamous is solid and underrated.

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction is another solid entry into the series. Not great or innovative but fun.

Fallout 3 (if you haven't played it with another system) is SUPER deep and you don't really need the book.

Mirror's Edge is interesting and different.

Burnout: Paradise is, simply paradise if you like to drive. It's actually like driving around in a GTA game with much better graphics and particle physics. Lots and LOTS of things to see and do even in single player. Also the cars are suped up! And now it is pretty cheap.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is really good if you like the series. Melodramatic and cheesy with the usual assortment of wacky villains but plays like a dream and you can approach it as a stealth game or a straight up shooter or a combination of both.

Eldar Scrolls: Oblivion is probably deeper than Fallout 3 (they share a lot in game mechanics) but not as good as Fallout 3 but fun if you like that kind of long term/grow a character/adventures.

I think that's it for me.

Oh, Lego Batman is a cool little game if you like the Lego games. Nothing really new but it is Batman.

The ones I've played the most : MGS4, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles, BF:Bad Company.

Other good are Ratchet and Clank (fairly easy tho) and Burnout Paradise which is probably the best racing game I've ever played.

I also kinda liked Resistance 1 & 2.

My gf got singstar, but I really stink at it. But its fun at parties etc.

MGS4 all the way.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

Get Warhawk, it's the best multiplayer game ever. And you can play in matches of up to 32 people, and 4 player splitscreen in those matches. And you can do 4 player splitscreen without anyone else if you want to

A lotta people mentioned bomb ass games, but I'll post my list anyway

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Great story, especially if you liked the movies, its the prequel to em. Interesting take on an FPS emphasizing stealth and brutality over your typical Run and Gun gameplay.

Red Faction: Guerilla - AWESOME FPS, put emphasis on blowing up.... everything. A blast

Infamous - Cool take on super hero games. An action adventure game that isn't shy with platforming, making it feel pretty old school.

The Darkness - A forgotten classic for our generation I think. Awesome story telling, dark backdrop, cool mechanics (you have to stand in the darkness to regenerate killer serpents that come outta your back and tear peoples hearts out, how is that NOT rad?), and non-stop action. Had a sort of exploration element though it wasn't nearly as flushed out as it coulda been.

Bioshock - fkn CLASSIC! Not as deep as Fallout 3, but still very damn good. If you want an FPS/RPG hybrid, this is the closest thing since Oblivion. Exploration, tons of weapons and abilitys, large interactive world, dark, brooding story.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Great game, but I only suggest you play it if you've played all the old ones. If you play it as a stand alone be prepared to get extremely confused and wikipedia the old games to follow the story lol. Otherwise its a deeply rewarding, if not easy, experience.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - The closest thing we have to God of War 3, but with a batman flare. Very good game, tight controls, and extremely cinematic. It was also designed a lot like a Metroid or Castlevania game, with lots of exploring, backtracking, and "walls" that require upgrades.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Probably one of the best multiplayer FPS's bar none.

Little Big Planet - Party game and great multiplayer experience, emphasis on user made content and ease of use.

Fallout 3 - Insanely deep, compelling, and long game. If you want something you will get your moneys worth out of, this is it!

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - See what I said about fallout 3, though the graphics are poorer, and Elder Scrolls can sometimes be brutally difficult as it is not kind toward people who play magic users or stealth classes

Devil May Cry 4 - BRUTALLY difficult game, but extremely fast paced and rewarding. Get this game if you wanna torture yourself.

Assassins Creed - Great game, though repetitive. I suggest you at least rent and play it through because part 2 comes out soon; and that games gonna be awesome ><

I believe thats all from me, I'm looking forward to Brutal Legend here in October followed by Assassins Creed 2 in November

Fat Princess looks ace. Haven't played it yet.

MAG looks like it will be huge if you like online shooting games. I have my doubts about getting together a 128 player team though, and I don't know how the command system will work.

I bought Fat Princess three hours ago and IMO its worth its value.

I played some single player ( to learn how to play ) and after that switched to multiplayer. Multiplayer is really a lot better as single player and from my playtesting it didn't show lag even once. It ran amazingly smoothly and was a ton of fun.

I actually dont have anything bad to say about it. But as I've only had it three hours, I'm probably not the most reliable source. Its worth taking a look at anyways

Next on my PSN game list will be BF1943, absolutely love the BF series

PS: My girlfriend wanted "TV Show King", so we also bought that yesterday. If you want a cheap quiz game, you can try that (A lot cheaper than say, Buzz). I haven't played it a lot yet but it seemed to be alright.

I played the 30 minute limited demo of BF1943. I thought I needed more time to decide about the title. It's only £9.99 though.

After playing it all the way through and spending extensive time with online multiplayer, I can vouch for KZ2. It is, without a doubt, the best FPS I've ever played. It has everything you'd expect from a wartime FPS: non-stop action, gritty and gory visuals, and large-scale multiplayer. I fething LOVE this game, just as much as the original.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
