I NEEEEEEEED Shadow Grey. I use it for shadows on white, highlights on black, and prime coat on space wolves. It is just my prime paint pot.

I dont use GW paints, but I couldn't live without my Bright Red, which I guess is Red Gore or Blood Red.

yeah sorry i realized i did that after copy and pasting all the paints off the GW site, and then i look and i see metallic paints as a sub category

Hawk turquoise. It's the base colour for my army, all of my models so far have started with a good 3 coats of it.

Oh scorched Brown, I'd rather basecoat everything in that colour than black, but that's probably because I'm doing a desert Guard army...

Chaos Black, it isn't my basecoast for my marines (in fact, Testor's flat red enamel spray paint is), but I use it as a base for other things like Burnished Gold, Boltgun Metal, Mithril Silver, etc... and its one of my actual army colors, (red, and black, gold for eagles and 2nd company heraldry)

Payne's Grey is an actual color used for ary on canvas and such. I have a big tub of the stuff. 1/8th cup of it watered down to the consistancy of milk is what I use to tone my canvas before I paint. It makes everythign tie together sine they all have a similiar base to them. But yeah, it's a popular color, but not just for models.

Mine is boltgun metal. I think I have used it on every mini I have ever painted, in some way or another.

And what is the deal with devlan mud? Why do people love it so much?

Anyone else hasn't voted for Tin Bitz.
I use it in almost every 40k model. To represent rust, rust, rust, and of course rust.
I could have picked a better one but I think that Tin Bitz just makes my Orks look hell a lot better (which they still need)

Chainmail! it can be mixed with almost anything for cool metallic colors (like metallic blue)

Whatever the equivalent of the cool green triad from reapers is in GW paint(the only GW paint I have ever used is snot green, for...snotlings). Couldn't make my purge army without it.

The devlin mud effect can be recreated with other washes. Creating an even off-white is always a challenge for me, so I picked Bleached bone.

I use it for highlighting flesh, I mix it with Dark flesh to create the base flesh color, its the undercoat on my nids, and the basecoat on my skeletons.

I would have difficulty without my beloved Burnshed Blue GW mettalic, unfortunately they discontinued this baby about a 5 years ago and my pot is gtetting old, worn and empty :(

I love Ice blue. my marines are half ice blue half liche purple. Its a good bright color that I tend to use a lot. I have a limited setup of paints and can't expand much.

I don't use GW paints neither, they're insanely expensive, but I use a lot Cinder Blue by AD, which is almost exactly as Space Wolf Gray.

Blood red it seems to get used up really quickly, even more so now ive got a evil sunz stompa to paint!!

Vallejo Black Glaze.

Failing that, Vallejo Glaze Medium, because I can use that to make my own black glaze.

Without that magic elixer, you'd all see just how bad of a painter I really am.

Otherwise, Regal Blue, Shining Gold, Skull White and Vallejo Saddle Brown are my personal colours.
