This is about painting your Space Hulk figures, including both SMs and Genestealers.

For first edition, I converted a lot of the Termies to new weapons and painted them all cammo colour with dry brush and unit markings. I painted the Genestealers too. So I would answer option 2 in the poll if it had been about 1e Spulk.

The new figures are very highly detailed, which I think makes them less easily convertible; on the plus side they look like they will paint up very nicely.

Why wouldn't you want to paint those amazing models?
Shame they have to be colored plastic, hopefully that doesn't mess with primer and such.

These are models that are just BEGGING to be painted well.

I see no option for "I'm going to start a hugely detailed paint job, get through a couple of them and give up because it doesn't even look that good anyway. I should have bought 2 boxes... :("

Can you use space hulk models in normal war40k?

Most probably... Unless there's a slight "scale" issue, but I don't see why!! You just have to set them on a proper base, that should do the job uh!!

on topic, i'm going to paint those models so well that any who gaze upon them will go blind, thus never seeing a better model again.

If I could afford it right now, bang up paint job would happen.

i plan on making them out ot be the center peices of my armies, so they'll have to be the absolute best of my ability

No option on the poll about converting the ish out of them so I didn't vote they will be wolves (yea I know new wolf temies'll be out soon but that wont stop me).

they are way too sexy NOT to paint up. they are going right in with my Blood Angels

If I had bought the game they would have to be painted even with my poor skills. The models are very nice so they beg for painting to bring out the beauty of the sculpt. FYI These are Blood Angels which correlates with the two Space Hulk computer games released. The first was just Space Hulk in DOS under Win95. The other was SH Vengeance of the Blood Angels for Win98/ME. Funny note though I can't run Chaos Gate under WinXP but can under Vista.

Were I to buy it, they would definetly be painted as nicely as possible, but I won't be buying it.

I would paint them if someone were to hand me a box and free me from my work schedule, but it's just one more game that I won't have enough time to play.
