MJ should have just smoked medical MJ instead to get to sleep easier.
RIP however these celebrity deaths reinforce my disdain towards these kind of drugs since they're just as addictive as hard substances with just as deadly side effects especially if the user is taking a bunch of stuff (Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole, MJ, etc).

They're fine drugs if used properly. Some of those drugs should never have been administered for the purposes they were. The question is who is going to take the fall for allowing it to happen.
I don't think cannabis would help someone who needs general anesthetics sleep.

Depends how long you use them for. Like Anti-Depressants, the inherent danger lies in overuse. The Drugs in question flood the body with a normally naturally occuring chemical. When you overuse them, the body no longer produces them, as it doesn't need to. Thus, you become dependant on the Drug in question to supply those chemicals. Hence the point of rehab. You are forced to go without, causing the body to start it's own production line once again.
