My entire collection of Wolves minus a Stormlord which obviously isn't in their arsenal.

They look very blue in your pics. Maybe try some better light sources?

Other than that, very skilled painting. That Runepriest looks quite amazing

The close up pics are pretty good , iam guessing all the blue ones are the base coat you sprayed on then you work up from there .

I gotta agree with metallifan, that Rune Priest is loaded with Awesome ! Plasma pistol muzzle could use drilling out tho.

The shadow grey base is kinda blue and flash makes it look horrible. The outdoor shots of the runepriest are a more accurate representation of the color although its still not quite what it looks like IRL. I also hit them with a slight overcoat drybrush of Space Wolves grey to mute the shadow grey a bit. the models that look very blue have no overcoat.

I like Rune Priest and the whole army in general, although I am not much of a fan of the darkish blue colour, have you tried experimenting with Adeptus Battle grey as a basecoat and then working up to Fortess Grey?

I love the turret on the Whirlwind. I can't make out the mini, but if he is a "screaming" guy it's a 10+.

they look like ultra's really like the paint jobs done on the first 2 solo mini's , nice and clean , maybe a little more shading and highlights?

dude the rune priest is awesome keep it up and dude GET A NEW LIGHT SOURCE makes them look like ultramarines but ur hq looks great!

I love the parade of Dreads and that Runepriest would definitely be one of my favorite models if it where mine, great job, very striking!

Wolf Scouts

Not too much a fan of the Shadow Grey, but as you said that's the camera's fault. Your paintjob however is very good, very clean and as others have said the Rune Priest is excellent. The wolf scouts also look very good as well.

Your finished works are quite impressive, I especially love your yellow scout weapons.

I worked on a small conversion today. I had some bits laying around so I decided to make an Iron priest on a bike.






I also painted up a Long fang pack leader

your grey is turning out great, good shading and even some OSL going on. Nice Wolves.

Have to agree with what others have said though. The weapons would really benefit from being drilled out.

I love these space pups! The dreadnought foursome is my favourite!

I think the face on the first guy could use a Gryphonne Sepia wash, but otherwise, they're all great! Love how the bike looks like it's turning. But I agree that the large pictures showcasing the army look very blue. Using the flash or a light might make them look less blue and more gray like they actually are.

If you like the Foursome you'll love the new one I have on order... He should be here in a few weeks.... Forgeworld is SLOW with shipping apparently. I ordered the new Space Wolves Dread with a Plasma Arm and a CC arm.

Ooohh! Can't wait to see it painted. As you can see, I like Dark Angels, but I'm considering attempting to make a Tactical Squad of every chapter with a big history (Space Wolves, Blood Angels, etc).

Working head light on a bike huh

Its been a few years since I've played the Space Puppies. I stopped playing 40K for a while but recently picked up some Grey Knights as seen in another thread.

With the number of GK armies out there I decided to bring back out my first army.... Last night I decided to start updating and adding a few models. Here is the long fang squad partially completed.



I'll finish em some time this week.

I also am aware that I'm Necroing this thread.... but its mine so Isnt that ok, especially with a picture of updates?

Here is the 1k army ready for the tournament. As you can see anything previously painted is a lesser quality than my Long Fangs. I'm debating wether I should just buy the new models and start from scratch or if I should freshen the Grey Hunter squads up. I'd only need to add a few colors to make em look the same quality....

I definitely approve.

I love when people paint their Aegis lines instead of just fielding grey plastic fortifications.

I started touching up grey hunters

I got one grey hunter squad done with the yellows. I'll get the fine detail on em done tonight and take a picture. Tomorrow I will ge the othe unit of hunters done and that leaves the small details on the skyclaws.
