I just wanted to share this picture of my 5 1/2 month old daughter taking some interest in my assembly of my second Tau Battleforce. Her favorite toy is a rattle made of all the bases in a zip lock when she shakes and throws around. My wife sat her next to me while I was assembling and she grabbed a few sprues which I took away and gave her a gun drone sprue instead. She didn't chew on it or anything, she just held it and looked at it and watched me asseble. Another player in the making?

Cute! My son is almost 3 and he can sit for hours and watch me paint figs, usually he does a bit of finger painting himself. Just yesterday he had a little pad of paper and a pen and was scratching at it intently, I asked him what he was writing and he said "An army list, Dad.". I was so proud I teared up a bit.

I'd do the same when I have a kid but I always wondered if getting high from glue is a good thing at such a young age.

That's why you switch to plastics when kids are around. The fumes aren't as strong

Awesome! Until she can start an army of her own, you could get her involved in the game as a 'counts as' Titan, with real model stomping action!

Believe it or not, my daughter did all of the drybrushing on my necron army when she was 5! Boltgun metal, Chainmail and a final of Silver. I showed her how to do it and how much to do and she sat and pounded those little buggers out like a pro! I was sooo proud! Glad I'm not the only one getting them started early!
