Sol and I played 5 games of Suicide Mission on Monday. The marines won only once when Sol was controlling them.
So the mission title is very apt. But all the games were very very close and came down to a single last dice roll or missing command point.

I just put together a video that is more celebratory than analytical.

Can you believe Sol painted two full sets in three days!?!

Im not sure whether to comment or not :x ( for sake of improvement i'll be devils advocate this time )

Generally viewers gets agitated when the actual content is only 33% of the whole video .
The sound effect is.... A for effort , but it has a comedic side effect as its hard to take the video seriously because of the photos.

Looking forward for an in-depth video in the future ! ( i know this one is rushed because of the excitement hehe )

THe door holders were from my set, which is not painted, I set it up while Sol got some food. There was a genestealer in his manapua...

Seriously That's pure Heroic! It's taken me a entire evening just to clip the models of the sprues!

I've still not played 3rd edition yet.
But I've played a fair few games of 2nd edition suicide mission and it seemed baised towards the genestealers. So in your five games the genestealers won 4-1, so is this still a tough mission to get a marine win? or did you feel that the marines were unlucky?

overall I loved the video.
maybe the intro was a bit long, but the in game photos were ace.

I think it is definitely biased against the marines.

I had awesome command point picks on one try as marines and I almost made it around that last corner to the control room, but I lost some important rolls with the sarge and everything collapsed.

Sol had great command points and great rolls and he barely squeaked it out. But he did win as marines, and I didn't, which maybe why I went a little overboard in lambasting the salamanders...

The intro was awesome. The video does a fantastic job telling of the superiority of the Blood Angels.

wow, you actually got the marines to win??? we tried 7 times on mission one (both of us refused to advance the mission until the marines won) and they never succeeded. the closest they came was within one dice roll (flamed a section containing the only genestealer between the flamer and the objective room and rolled a 1 to wound...)

HAHAHAHHA! I fell over backwards when I saw the video

Well, I was going to trim off all the detail but I just could not bring myself to do it. Instead i justified it this way:

The Grail of Vulkan was a secret artifact known only to He`stan. It caught the the first and last tear vulkan shed because he was unable to protect the emperor

Those Blood Angels often mistake it for their silly grail which was used to capture a drop of blood of their mutated Primarch

I absolutely love the game Once you learn how to win with the marines the game begins to balance out. It is great for getting beginners into the game by allowing them to use the Genestealers while giving the veteran gamer a real challenge when they use the Marines.
