I'm buliding a Jetbike heavy, mech Eldar home-grown craftworld. Do I go with a Scorpion or a Cobra, both are D class Damage so even is the center of the template is off the hull not a big deal. So the question is which looks cooler and what would you like more......one G48 10" template or two 60" 5" templates?
Thanks for your time and imput.

Get whichever model you think looks better. Don't sweat the rules, as they're pretty comparable.

I really like the Scorpion but the Cobra is just as cool....with the twin-linking on the Scorpion I'd re-roll the scatter right?

If you like the looks of the Scorpion, get it. You won't go wrong.

If you want to compare the weapons, think of this: The D-Cannon covers more area, while the Pulsars get more shots that re-roll the scatter roll.

I'd go for the scorpion myself. Think of it like this: one's a giant bad-ass tank with a giant bad-ass supercannon. The other's a giant bad-ass tank with two giant bad-ass supercannons.

With FW, the model is what counts more than its rules.
Go with the one you like the look of more.
The Cobra also IGNORES void shields, btw.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Thats one giant bad-ass supercannon that shoots a giant bad ass pie plate for a blast.
I would go Cobra. Neither tank can stand up to a Reaver or such alone. But the Cobra has a greater capability for shear mass killing with the pie plate and as someone mentioned it ignores void shields. Scorpian really cannot kill as much in one round of shooting. They both last just as long defensively.

I see the Cobra as more of a Siege Machine and the Scorpion is more of a Super Anti-tank MBT. I still unsure, but I love the Scorpion type II model.
