Rubbish film, but IMO it had the best ending ever.

Probably Nurgle, Africa has the lock on that.

I'm both selfish and rational. I'm scheming, secretive and manipulative; I use knowledge as a tool for personal gain, and in turn obtaining more knowledge. At best, I am mysterious and stealthy; at worst, I am distrustful and opportunistic.

Terminator 3 , the nuke scene with John Conner's speech ( i would link it but i already did it on another thread xD )

And this .... find me someone that doesnt have the chills watching this scene!
Oops... wrong clip >< but my favorite part was the ending where Rynoa was an old lady and retelling the story
and the camera fades to edward still in the castle making ice sculptures.

Lunahound funny you should mention Blade Runner. That particular scene isn't the end. So when you do get a chance to see it make sure you watch the directors cut and not the original release. It has one of the best endings I have ever seen. The original release is missing a 30 second scene which completely changes the climax of the movie.

Yeah, I like the Blade Runner DC more than the original. The removal of the voiceovers is a huge change.

BrookM beat me to it with mentioning Unforgiven, but the end of The Game is fantastic. I wish that my memory could be wiped after I watched that movie, but then again I would probably spend all day watching it.

The Transformers: The Movie. In less than 5 minutes, we go from the Giant Robot raking the planet and about to digest/slag the heroes to said heroes happily chanting after Roddy makes his big meaningless political speech right after they blow up the Giant Robot.

Actually, I think Airplane has the best ending:

The usual suspects: one of the best final revelations I'd ever seen.

Se7en: Not a twist, not a shock, just a truly amazing ending.

Casablanca: It's been parodied and referenced so many times it's easy to forget that it's a really moving scene.

I find the ending to The Last Samurai to be particularly moving. Still, the revelation in The Empire Strikes Back is amazing, which is why my kids will watch the original trilogy before Episodes 1 -3.

And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity......
