When opening a thread where there are a large number of photos, sometimes the post with the photos seems to 'give up' 3/4ers down and just becomes a vast blank space.

Is that the site not uploading, downloading or is it my comp not receiving the info?

MGS, im having the same problem here, usually its eaither a blank space or a black sort of page.

Yep, but I've had it from other threads containing very large amounts of pictures before, either long spaces with the dakka background in it or long spaces of black.

Same problem here as of late. Pictures sometimes show, sometimes not.

Can you link to some examples please? What web browser are you using?

hmm this is a known firefox rendering bug I think ... not much can be done apart from encouraging people to break up their posts a bit.
