Cheers for the link but it's the shipping costs these days thats the real killer add to that custom charges ebay starts to look cheap again

There are a few nocking around but most of the time I can get it cheaper through ebay.

Problem is hey don't come in battle forces like GW stuff. So if you buy the box your after one of he two items in it. And if you play, then your opponent probably would take the other army. Miniature market had the best discount I saw, but I haven't checked the european dealers. Also miniature market has free delivery over $100.00, not sure if it applies to you though.

No, I think you're confusing DUST: Tactics which is the board game with DUST: Warfare the tabletop build-your-army game (the hardcover book). but they both use the same miniatures.

I want to preserve the OD green color because I want to preserve the pre-printed markings on the wings

No, I am just after some of the kits although I did get the board game when it was originally released, just wanted the miniatures at the time although was tempted to play the game.

That's US Blue/Grey - the same color used on the belly of real P-38s. You have the older, bigger set with 4 walkers LDD? Once this is dry, I'll mask the engine cowls, those will be yellow, and the nose/radome will be silver

Then shading, then moar markings (plenty of room for nose art!), then weathering

Looks great! i really like the look of those machines in DUST. and with your paintjob they will look superb!

I thought that was what you might be doing with it, it should lift the whole model as it is a little flat of a paint scheme the yellow will really make it pop.

Yes, the large box set I really got into the AT-43 miniatures and saw a potential cross over and bought it as soon as it hit the shelves I think I even pre ordered it

I have to say I was really quite impressed with the box layout and the models.
