if your talking about the marine drawing, that's the cover of a book that is haphazardly laying against the chair.

I was kind of worried about using a wood colored scythe, but the handles are textured as wood, since they are fantasy. I mean a superhumanly strong person using a weapon that is made of wood? Well we all know it's held together by rivets .

and hopes and dreams you know it prolly has an admantium rod going through it as well to make it more durable...plus the wood grain could be nicks in it from fighting

Yes, unfortunately it was goblin green. A+ to dave who knows a GW paint by color from a poorly taken photograph, especially as it wasn't the focus of the shot. Never play against dave in competitive "where's Waldo"

Edit: movie night, kids have some really annoying ones. I grabbed world war z, and after earth. I need some zombie fun tonight, the wife has a football game to coach her cheerleaders at.

Movie night usually consists of half an hour of the kids bickering over which they watch followed by the wife and I collapsing unconscious a couple of hours later.

i would like to know if world war z is for the faint of heart...as i would like to watch it... but i am a bit hesitant about maybe upcoming nightmares... i am a bit squeemish the last coupla days...

@vik, world war z isn't nearly as gorey as the walking dead. I think it's rated pg13. Nothing really new or innovative in my mind. I can't remember hem showing anything really bloody either. It was okay as a film, I think it's more of a b class movie, but it has brad Pitt.
@graven, I don't I could handle excitement anymore. I think parents are becoming zombies, at least I am. Luckily I'm not bothered by brains around me

After earth was decent, will smith as a hard nose father is a little hard to swallow. He did remind me of he father in the T.V. Show revolution though.

Got 2 hours to paint this morning before the kids started to stir.
Terminator 2, I like how his face turned out. Never tried to do beards before, so gave him the subtlest of grey around the chin, cheek, and over the ears. But he is bald like. Good space marine, no hair on his head, or dangly parts below.






Now it's time to make pancakes.

WWZ doesn't interest me, CG fast zombies, jumping higher than humans....meh.

Wows zombies aren't typical suspense horror zombies. They are only called that to bring zombie fans to the movie. They are a strain of a virus, that transfers by bite, and infects the other victims in seconds, I think 12 seconds was the incubation time. The zombies aren't out for flesh, just replicating themselves as fast as possible. Not sure what the endgame is, but they cooperate. The end of the movie was quick, and it really leaves open an opportunity for a sequal. Hopefully it would happen and flesh things out more, but I agree, I don't like the quick zombies that jump thirty feet.

the yellow of yn termie looks specially good to me... very pleasing to my eyes!

as for the squeemish side of me... well... i am in a mood where i actually could see that happening...(no need for realism check, i dunno why exactly i have such angsts...but it is a fleating thing i am sure... usually i haven´t bothered with locking our door these last years... but nowadays i do this each night... with precision...)

oh...and back to your termy... i am not sure about the brown on his...er...lack of term... but i rather would like to see another color there...hmmm...but which one...?

Well I kind of liked the brown leather straps, but I had also considered red. Or they could be yellow or black, wanted to have the brown from the other termi's scythe to have a coordinating color in the unit. Taking my kids to the soccer game my wife's cheerleaders are at today, we have another birthday party to go to, then probably to a pumpkin patch to get holloween pumpkins. Tomorrow after church most of the men are staying to remove the pews for the carpet installers to come on Monday. So updates will be later today. I'll probably be surfing my phone at the soccer game, just no desire at all to watch it.

Back from soccer, my files school won 3-1. Couldn't see the screen on my phone to respond to anything. I think I'll keep the straps brown since my plan makes sense now .

WWZ zombies are making me think more like the idea of the Mantic Deadzone infected at early stage infection with improved sped and agility for infecteds, bad if they get to recal how to use guns like in Deadzone and mutate further to more massive sized monsters.

Now see...I can buy a virus, a brain parasite, and even something reanimating the base instincts of a person's brain, shutting down the frontal cortex, but the WWZ thing is just regular people running and jumping higher than physics allows. It's stupid. Why not add a little makeup or CG? They are all mid-twenties people in good physical shape....running

They're young and in shape because the virus was actually selectively not targeting the sick and diseased. But them working together to make columns 150' high is where I had the big problem. I was glad to see the army guys using grenades and military tactics instead of trying hand to hand because they are all macho men.

No..no..no...the human leg muscles WILL NOT allow you to jump 16X Michael Jordan jumps If a virus can make people work together, then Congressmen should get a shot of it during their swearing in ceremony

Vik I just saw your post about world war z, that movie is not scary at all you will do just fine. It has a bit of apocalypse syndrome though.
