Could I loot a carnifex or a Hive Tyrant and say it counts as a looted wagon? Also which has a bigger gun, and more room for a platform on its back? To explain the phenomena of having a tyranid in my army I will say they jammed a choppa into the skull, which stopped signals from the hive mind. I would have a choppa in the models head. FYI the platform would have a rider and two loota guns to represent boomguns, and the tyranid gun.

Carnifex would be your unit of choice. It hunches over, giving you a relatively stable platform for da driva an' 'iz boyz.

The only thing i might see as a prob is that with a round base it might start to get hard to see Vehicle facing, but if you work past that go for it. Or see whats the largest square/rectangle base from Fantasy.

well... we was thinking bout a ork who has jumped on a carnifex and has a fishing line with a grot on the front. he sits on the carni's back and hangs the grot in front of the carni's face. carni chases the grot. when the ork want to have the carni rip apart a gorup he lets go of the grot. carni eats grot, looks up and attack group.

rules...

lured movement - the ork player moves the carnifex 6" per turn, no shooting or assaulting, during the orks movement phase he can elect to let the grot go. the carnifex then has the special rule RAGE, but will move shoot and assault THE nearest unit, friend or foe. besides that its a normal carnifex.

Ha, I think the grot idea is fantastic. And sure the carnifex would chase the grot, as long as the Hive Mind is no longer controlling its actions. I mean, if I was a hungry and animalistic engine of destruction, and there was something small and squealing dangling an inch from my face, I would most definitely try to eat it.

All in all, a hilariously awesome idea.

Now that I think about it, Squigs were originally a Tyranid creation based on Ork genetic material, and the Orks got them in their army list by stealing them "back" from the Tyranids. Thanks to retconn, we can now have a weird circle of life going on here...

I must say this is the most ridiculous Idea I have ever seen. You absolutely can not do that. It won't have anywherenear the proper amount of dakka. On a practical note I can't see ho you hope to transport boyz when this thing is bucking and hungry and ork vehicles already don't stick together. Add more shoota and choppa, then make the model and I will forever know the carnefex as lootable.

Just..... wow.

Definitely needs the choppa in the skull for it to be believable. The driver could even use the choppa as reigns, that would be funny. The only problem would be that you would have to twist the choppa the opposite way of where you want to turn....
