Just wondering got a torny next week that allows forge world lists. If they can be use are they hard to deal with. I remember something about needing 6s to hit in shooting unless it was an AA mount. Any help would be wonderful

Well, some RTTs allow to use FW units.
Also in the recent GT final, FW models were allowed,
but only with 1 structure point.

As long as you use the IA flyer rules and not the Apoc ones, sure.

That said the Apoc ones are easier...

Discuss it with your opponent. If your opponent says yes, then you can.
the Show-And-Tell rule applies in this circumstance.

When you call an intimate moment with your partner "the Assault Phase"

Is that followed by a pile-in move?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "Hit and Run"

Can that be following a deep strike, or do you have to wait until the next round?

The Helios Land Raider has a standard Whirlwind Launcher, not the AA Hyperios Launcher from the Hyperios Whirlwind.

Hyperious Whirlwind or Hydra work well against fliers.

I've got a Lightning I use and it's pretty mean. I swapped out the autocannon for two missiles. It comes on, kills a tank and leaves.

Hydra are probibly the best option and since they are now in the Codex you can take one normally.

Yeah, but too bad the Codex version lacks the AA trait and is stuck hitting on 6's if shooting fliers.

Yup, there's a reason to take the expensive one in IA.

Yep, the Codex version has Auto-Targetting Systems instead, which negates the cover saves provided to Fast Skimmers and Turbo-boosting Bikes.
