Flinty, your guard is awesome. Could you possibly take a pic of the second HB team from a different angle? I cant really see them behind that weird piece of metal

The attention to detail really makes this great to me
Even the tactical tri-fingerless gloves (remind me of mine lol)
The use of common items and parts add to the basing to make them even better.
Also, the cammo doesent look like the 5 min quick cammo you usually see.
It stands ouot well and looks like it actually works.
Also, i take it those are pigiron heads, but what ones please?

Wow, looks awesome! Could you tell me what kind of rifles those guys have? Did you convert them? Or are they bought as-is?

Your in a battlefield with the Rhino your Leman could move like. Whats in your hand, back at me, I have it, it's the fire control for the Twin-linked Assault Cannons aimed at you. Look again, it's a Deep-Striked Land-Raider. Anything is possible when your Tanks move like Blood Angels, and not like Guardsmen. I'm on a Baneblade. |

Oooh... responses Thanks for the compliments, all. I think this is the best thing about Dakka, i.e. the support and encouragement for what is, in essence, rather a hard job
@JD21290 - I wanted to do gloved hands but I thought they would be a bit lost as almost all tactical gloves are camo or black. the fingerless aproach was a nice compromise. They are Pig Iron heads of the Heavy Infantry Visored variety. I went for the Mixed Heads sprues in order to get my mitts on the sweet, sweet additional optics helmet variant
@augfubouy - The rifles are Hasslefree Miniatured CAD guns type 2. I also use the CAD type 1 to represent cabines/laspistols. They are pretty much bought as-is but they are bullpup and need to be trimmed a bit to fit the Cadian arms. I have a few guys wandering about with the full rifles, with the rest obviously hiding portions of the gun under arms, etc
@Luna - The gunners both use one of the heavy weapon firing arms (can't remember if they come from the heavy weapons sprue or the Guard tank pintle mount arms... the two are rather similar). I trimmed off the central portion of the handles and the other arm, leaving the heavy trigger handle on the arm I wanted to use. The arm supporting the weapon is just the ML support arm.

Really like this. More good work from you Flinty. How is the lying down gunner achieved? Is it just adjusting the leg position on the base or is greenstuff involved?

No greenstuff on the prone gunner. I just had to file down the rear of the torso a little and leave a big gap between the belt and the legs at the front. However as he's lying down you can't tell
