The Last Chancer Who Survived

I just had an idea pop in my head for a new army that I will probably start and never finish, but still... I was thinking, what if I took bodies from bloodletters or beastmen and chaos hound heads and made em look like werewolves? Possibly using a warpwolf from hordes as a giant too.
But if I did that, what other kinds of werewolfy troops would I have? What would a leader model look like? would I wanna use beastmen rules? or warriors of chaos? or something else? Lets say I wanted to put together a 1000 pt army just for fun games. what would be good to include?

Beastmen would be the most obvious.

I guess, but maybe flip it? Werewolves are furry, so Beasts is natural, so the Kroot can stand in as Bloodletters?

Don't do Werewolves. Do Wererats! That way you can have the joy of buying the new Skaven plastic when it comes out, too.

I would recommend using khrone demons rules for werewolves. The kind of werewolves that have lost their humanity, and have become little more than savage beasts.

Because big winged Werewolves that are somehow incredibly skilled at parrying and wear armour totally makes sense.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

You know werewolves are supposed to be abberations against nature, right Luna? As in, the kind of things Wood Elves would kill on sight? Especially in WHFB, where they were created by dark magic.

That doesn't make much sense either, if he's supposed to be the ultimate guardian of the forest. I can't remember if werewolves were specifically created by Chaos like the Beastmen or by the Vampires.

Unfair bias against were creatures in this thread! There's an unfair bias against were creatures in this thread!
Western cultural imperialism, I say.
Disclaimer: In the WHFB setting, were-creatures are probably an abomination against the proper order.
