The Hummer turned to gaks once the H2 came out.

If any country needs a hummer it's clearly Iran or North Korea.

The brand was always gak, its vehicles for the civvie market were rolling caricatures of whats wrong with America(ns). In any case by selling it off they could at least get some much needed $$$ and retain some jobs for Americans rather than just dropping it completely (which imo would be a very dumb business move).

I once heard that Burger King had a contest where the winner would get a free hummer. I signed up but was kind of disapointed.

Douches drive hummers. I once saw a guy in a hummer drive up and park in a handicapped parking spot in front of my store. 10 minutes later a cop found it, and wrote him a ticket. I have to admit it was really satisfying to see the look on the guys face when he saw the cop standing outside infront of his hummer.

Funny enough, robot chicken has a bit about just that. (minus the cop)

And as for the hating, those Hummers are trail-worthy, so if I were off-roading into the Mojave or down Baja, I'd definitely want a H2 over anything short of a Land Rover.

Terrible veichles, less than 1mpg? so it has been sold to the country with the largest output of CO to ramp up their less than impressive green stats. Is on the part of the parent company that have done this to be more climatically aware?
