ok, so a while ago. i saw a massive titian hunter that someone had built. but i cant find any pics of it now, and i am hoping someone on dakka will know what i am talknig about.

it looked like a city on tank tracks... the guy had used 4 BANEBLADE tracks on EACH side of it... he also said he used something like 10 imperial sector city kits.... it also had a giant cannon on it.

lets see... O, it looked like it would have taken up most of a gaming table, and was taller then most of the Forge World titians.

so... anyone remember what i am talking about, and could link it up. or point me to a photo gallery or something. i need to show this to a gaming buddy that dident belive me when i told him about it.

Gerald = What? Why? How? Where? and then Wow.

Is it a model? Is it a gaming table? Is it the coolest full scale childs pedal toy the imperium ever produced?

Tell me all I want to know or I shall cry/come round your house and threaten you with a sharpened necron/give up and have to spend ages searching for it.

please

@ Dances with Squats: I couldn't tell where I found this picture, but, like you, I was pretty amazed by the work and saved the picture for future inspiration.

Ordinatus! Awesome, will have to knick the idea once I have paid off some debts

In a world gone mad, who is left to fight for truth, justice and all that gets you smashed for under a fiver....

First played 40k during 2nd edition, missed out 3rd and 4th, and haven't played 40k since 5th edition - but still read and occasionally paint

Personally, I think those pictures are just incredibly slowed. Im sorry, the builds are nice and everything, but if one of those landed on my table, I would laugh my opponent away

As soon as I read this I started picturing some Steve Irwin-esqe guy with a big mustache and an elephant gun stalking through Rennaisance Italy hunting Painters. That huge whatever it is thing is pretty awesome though. Pretty impressive.

That's the city of deaths terrains walls lining it (not 100% sure though). So no, it's not resin.

"And what are the achievements of your fragile Imperium? It is a corpse rotting slowly from within while maggots writhe in its belly. It was built with the toil of heroes and giants, and now it is inhabited by frightened weaklings to whom the glories of those times are half-forgotten legends."

That "Ordinatus" is large, but I can only see one gun on it. And it's unimpressive. It doesn't look very big, perhaps making it wider and longer? I'm imagining some massive thing that can launch Land Speeder-sized shells and does damage similar to that of the Death Star.

Rico...

its an abnti orbital unit its shouldn't be in a position to need ground fire. although smaller arms such as heavy bolters and lascanons woudl advantagous for some protction

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.
