6 Valkyries Side Heavy bolter
6 Vets Power fist in 4 squads 2 meltas each squad 1 Heavy Flamer 1 Demo charge (demo option)
Sly Marbo

2 storm trooper squads with 2 Plasma in each.
Lord commissar with Carapace.

I take it you are dividing up the Valks into two squadrons? or 3 squadrons of 2?

Honestly, the Lord Commissar is not the best choice for the HQ. I don't know the fluff for Dkok though, so is it very common for Commissars to be attached to their units? The only bonus for him is that he can be attached into a vet squad and doesn't need a separate transport, but I'd rather have a command squad that is kitted-out with goodies than a 6th veteran squad anyway. Besides, it might free up some points for fun stuff like artillery pieces.


As a side note: Ouch that many valks is gonna hit your pocketbook hard...

Even though you've got a load of meltas I would recommend bumping a couple of the Valkyries up to Vendettas. It gives you some long range AT capability that is rather lacking at the moment.

It's pretty one-trick pony, but sometimes those are the most winnable lists out there

Ya I'd make 3 vedettas to knock out rhinos and such to make ur other weapons more effective.

If you plan to fly them in 3 groups i would agree with taking 2 vendettas, also missile pods are very nice defensive weapons, dont think you need demolitions for all the vet squads so you can save some points there.
