I understand they're a small company, but those are pretty substandard scuplts. They'd have looked bad 10 years ago.

I think the second set are supposed to be monkeys...
IIRC Mega Minis big thing is, lets give people a lot of lead(ishness) at a low price. I've got some of their modern stuff, and scenery.
It doesnt always look great up close, but on the tabletop it gets the job done without being an eyesore.
I'll just make some space skaven myself though.

These look like characters from Ratchet & Clank. Not impressed. I have seen better sculpts on things I paid a quarter for in a gumball machine.

Um, ew.
Especially with GW's nice new-sculpt Clanrats coming out in plastic.
Heck, even using GW's slightly-older Plague Monks would be a *huge* step up.

Cool! They're doing Star Control miniatures!
Do the Shofixti have the "Divine Wind" option in the miniature game?

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP

The Ratmen are 15mm tall, though designed as 28mm scale; they are intended to be midget ratmen in. The Space Chimps are about 20mm scale.
Given the Ratmen are displayed above in high resolution, standing about 35mm tall on my monitor, I think they will look pretty good IRL.
Also bear in mind that these are 'comedy' figures, and cheap ($1.99 each.)
Some people want the moon on a stick. I think it's unrealistic to expect a cheap 15mm look as good as a very expensive 30mm figure.
