I'm looking for this guy and if anyone has seen him active on any other forum or anything let me know. I ordered 50$ worth of bits off of him and still havn't got them and it's been well over a month now.

this isn't a trading site so the mods can't do anything here which is why i'd like to catch him on another site since he's been inactive since he stiffed me. Honestly before he resolved everything eventually but i've got no contact or anything here.

I'd like to request this one be moved to the SwapShop. Konversionz is a known trader here, so it would be nice to establish if he's gone rogue or not.

I second this but I didn't know if it would have been a good idea just to throw a second konversions thread in there.

I tried to warn everyone on Konversions' thread. He's notorious for this on Bartertown, you usually get your stuff after months of badgering/threats. Tho on Dakka who knows?

The point was made in the last thread that more than anything else, he was just very slow in his trading.

From the 5 people that traded with him previously, would you mind saying how fast he shipped/paid?

He ships VERY slow - on Btown, RM, Dakka.


However he has not fully 'taken' people stuff.

It just takes him forever.

does not shipping till been called a scammer ( then forced to ship out the items ) 2 months later still is consider "slow" ?

Yeah he owes me abunch of space marine bits and a bull ogre from...geez maybe a month and a week ago.... I've had paypal not do anything for me before when i got stiffed on ebay so reporting paypal doesn't always work, and other than the fact that I did so already I dunno how else to get konversions to get his rear in gear.

Sorry man, I keep seeing everyone giving the ok to pat people on the back for doing good things, but now when I kept my mouth shut for a while, I see a person I had a bad deal with claiming to be wronged by someone else. I got angry...

I just don't understand people getting praised for doing what they are supposed to do and follow the rules, but you shouldn't talk about the bad things people do...

Just confused and mad...

I feel your pain , on other threads i read things like " well he has 5 positive trades"
but so what? what comfort does that bring when the cold reality was someone just got screwed over?

I know this doesnt help get your stuff but I dealt with Konversionz 2 or 3 times and never had a problem with him. He was actually one of the best people Ive dealt with so its surprising to read whats going on now especially since the items I ordered from him took about a week to arrive which was very quick considering it was coming from overseas. But sorry to hear about the bs ur going through Kits.

I had a deal with him, it took forever... he is very, very slow and does not respond to emails/pms or just about anything, but he did ship out everything i asked just took a long time.

The message here appears to be that he does fulfill his end of the bargain, he just takes his time doing it.

On the occasions I dealt with him it was pretty fast, oddly.

This is why I shy away from swapping with someone from somewhere other then the US. Not judging their character as a person or anything, just that shipping from another country to America can, and does, turn into a nightmare.
Im not defending this person or anything, just saying, usually if shipped in the US it goes smoother........usually

I'm still waiting for 2 space marine heads that I paid for in August...

No reply to prompting PMs I have sent.

Thankfully it's only 2 quid, but still annoying.

I also chose not to trade with konversionz due to his reputation... these delays happen too often / to too many people trading with him for it to be excused.

I didn't realize he was banned from Bartertown, but that is helpful to know, as well.

I traded with him for some hirst molds, he shipped very quickly. No complaints whatsoever.
