So guys what was the last movie you watched?

I'll kick it off with the Devils Rejects, great movie and that Captain Spaulding fellow certainly made the movie for me such a classy guy.

I saw Moon the other day. Really interesting, small budget sci-fi film about a guy alone on the moon, operating a mining operation.

Just to add random celebrity interest, it was made by David Bowie's kid.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

ARG, I've been wanting to see that but haven't had a chance. Last I saw was Where the Wild Things Are.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I watched The Watchmen on a recommendation from a mate (who edited the trailers together as a favour for Zack Snyder - who is mates with his boss) - I've never read the comic (call it a "graphic novel all you want. It's still a comic. Even if Alan Moore does know the score - can you dig it?).

Quite liked it overall. Several characters just gave me the irrits, though - I'm not much of a spandex hero fanboy. My comic-book idols growing up were Rogue Trooper, Judge Dredd and Nemesis the Warlock.

Paranormal Activity for me..

It is pretty creepy. I liked it. Very well done without going over board.

My wife still has problem sleeping at night and wakes me up for every noise she hears. So it was pretty scary for her.

It just depends on what kind of horror film you like. This is not the hack and slash gory movie..

Freakin' sweet flick! Try to go into with as little knowledge of it as possible. That totally increases the WTF factor. That is all...

In general: Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.
My daughters love Tinkerbell, and the two Disney movies featuring Tink and the fairies of Pixie Hallow have been pretty darned good.
I love the Celtic tone of the series. I also love that in this new entry they expanded the universe; the story takes you from Pixie Hallow, past Skull Rock, and back again. Boy, is it one hell of a ride!
I hope this is and attempt to tie it to the Peter Pan movies.

Also, in a scene that discusses being polite and apologizing to others, I swear the movie parodies internet trolls... With actual trolls! LOL

I am a damaged individual screaming random obscenities into the internet, sorry if I upset you.

@Chromedog - Awesome taste in comics, mate. Slaine? Loved Rogue Trooper, too.

GI Joe, RoC.

Good flick actually, for sure left it hanging for an obvious part 2.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Forever alone

Knowing. What a terrible film. Far too many and far too obvious religious references/undertones and bad science combined with the failing Nicholas Cage made this my #1 worst movie of 2009.

On a more positive note, I also watched Doom again. It wasn't very popular, but I certainly enjoy it.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
