The Basher is up on Privateer's website. As you can see it's not based upon the Driller chassis.

This Rhulic heavy ’jack appears to be little more than a mass of armor atop a pair of powerful steam-powered legs. As it rampages across the battlefield it smashes anything caught in its path. This basic design was augmented for battle with the addition of powerful short-range grenade launchers that can annihilate packed soldiers it fails to crush outright.

Like nothing I expected, certainly. I was looking forward to a Driller chassis jack with maybe a pair of open fists and some blasting weapons. The design of this guy is rather neat, really.

I wonder why it has a trailer hitch?

The supply does not get to make the demands.

That's heavy warjack sized, is it?
Odd. I'll have to see if it grows on me.

I like the concept and the 3d view helps understand its design better.

Meh. Bland, uninspired and just plain odd looking. Almost as if it's missing a top piece.

Ahahahaha, that thing looks hilarious. It's only purpose in life is to ram into things as hard as it can. The trailer hitch is probably to accentuate the theme that the Rhulic Jacks double as heavy working equipment when they aren't smashing things.

Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.

It's cute and a nice break from the usual huge metal brick on tiny legs.

No, it's a huge wrecking ball on running legs.

But but but- wouldn't it fall on it's arse the first time it hits something vaguely heavy?

I'd like to see it painted in yellow with industrial striping. I really like its utilitarian look.

I wonder if these long legs produce some speed.

I am definitely getting one of these guys, although I wish it was an actual warjack, not a repurposed labor jack like all Rhulic 'jacks.

Anyway, here's what Matt Wilson has to say about it.

Fun story on how this little guy came to be:

Our sculptor, Jason Hendricks (Dire Troll Extreme and many others...) often likes to surprise us with sculpts he creates on his own in between other projects. Jason is an amazingly creative guy and always has really well thought out back ground and story behind each of his creations. This jack has actually been sitting on my desk for probably close to two years, waiting for an opportunity to get in front of ya'll.

Jason's concept for the jack was that it was a heavy labor jack used in Rhulic mining operations, hence the trailer hitch, which we left to give it that 'appropriated from the mine' feel. The reinforced carapace on the front made it great of ramming things in combat on the battlefield. We added grenade launchers to give it a little extra oomph, and voila— the latest in dwarven war tech.

So, thanks to Jason for his awesome imagination and the little gifts he likes to surprise us with.

That's the Rhulic theme. I don't think they have any dedicated Warjacks even in the fluff.

It needs WWII style fighter nose art. One of the other Rhulic jacks has that and this one could do with it also.

I never owned a Rhulic jack before, but I think that's the one that jah-joshua painted for PP.
