Interesting skills vahalla. Constructing valentines cards saves money and is better than some mass produced overpriced piece of mass market manipulation. Shooting anti-tank rockets could be important should you be threatened by a tank. I can see why the imperial guard appeals to you now.

I have the second one kicking around somewhere - the other two are new to me! fairly rare.

Base coat is done - ready for washing! I'm painting whilst watching muppet christmass carol and sipping cognac. Damn that word looks odd written down: cognac. Should be con-yack really.

Merry midwinter bank holiday everyone. I have a cake, pudding, roasting chicken, taters, sprouts, parsnips and carrots, oh and trifle. All homemade. It great having a man-slave who likes cooking (I will be washing up I think)

Sounds like a real feast weety. What's a trifle?

I had a real pudding once when I was invited to a party whose host was from the UK. Pretty tasty stuff.

Trifles vary wildly but are all amazing. I like them with fingers of sponge soaked in sherry, then covered in strawberry jello, with a layer of custard and then topped off with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.

Weety please send me some yeah? I gots no trifle this year. I feel such a failure.

had to look up trifle as i wasn´t sure enough to what it is... but it reminds me of tiramisue of the british nature, am i right in assuming so?

by the way...read both metro books and i was not sold on them... long, brutal and frustrating...but i guess the game will be better...

Metro 2033 is a great little game , not in the same league as NV but still impressive.its actually by the original developers of stalker , both games rely heavily on the novel
A roadside Picnic , but metro is based on a recent novel of the same name . Andrei tarvkosky's stalker 1979 is one of my fave movies . looking forward to the new metro actually.

Trust me when I say I didn't exactly go looking for theose skills. I'ts strange the things the Army thinks you might need to know.

How odd briancj - I've looked through my whole facebook profile and cant see where I've gone wrong there - just so long as it doesn't list my street, flat number and mobile! Bloody facebook - its evil. I swear I listed my address as No. 69 None-of-your-beeswax street, nowhere town.

But yes I suppose there is no harm in admitting I live in a beautiful holiday destination full of (slightly battered)palm trees, clean beaches and ancient industrial ruins.

Neil - I will definitely need to do the washing up its only fair. Glad you like my trifle and terminator combo.

Vallhalla - just so long as the army don't decide you need to know how to herd civilians into cattle trucks. Sorry, went a bit dark and sinister there. Personally I would love to learn how to shoot a rifle - for when civillization collapses; not long now I'm sure.
