I wasn't a fan of the first one they did, but this one is pretty good. I assume that the secret ingredient is broken glass.
There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

at the moment I'm attempting to make a spacewolf TWC army using MLP models (and converting them to have power armour, bolters, and so on). so far I've found the ones I can use for marines (Mini Pony Singles) but I cant get hold of or even find any of the G4 pony "blind bags" here in the UK. Does anyone have any idea where I could get hold of them :?
That's an amazing idea. Apparently, you can get them at Tesco - but I've never seen them.
Off-topic but not worth making a whole thread about; what are the little cylindrical nibs on the side of medium-sized model bases for? Along with the holes in the bottom. O.o
the holes there to slot a model in and the little nibs part of a sprue...I think ^_^
I tried tesco and they had pinky.....but when I came back they sold her just waiting for them to restock XD also found some G4 ponies on ebay at long last ^.^ should have this army started soon

For drilling through, you mean? I've been using glue, is something wrong with me? >.> Also, yeah - they have the sprue attachment plastic (the part that's shaped for clippers to clip off), but then a further cylinder of plastic attached to that. What's the point?

In a blind bag? Oh! They also do those sets of the main cast, although they're kinda bad and everypony's a clonepony. Also, the biggest set only comes with five - everyone except Applejack. It's a bit weird.
EDIT: Corpsesarefun: I agree. X3

there's nothing wrong with you, its just easyer to slot them in XD I keep the sprue bits as they come in usefull every now and then :3
nah it was in a blister :3 I like the mini ones though they dont do fluttershy which makes me sad :( It kind of annoyed me that all the ponys are clones too but hey, they'll all be in power armour when I'm done so its not too much of a problem ^_^
the pony meal times were awesome, loved rainbow dash in the background
Automatically Appended Next Post: so, the 12 pony MLP FIM collection pack should be winging its way to me soon, so that'll be 12 thunder ponies or 12 pony hunters depending on just how well they fit on a large GW base ^_^
cant wait to start this army....

Huh, well, it's done. The TOR thing, I mean. Once I latched onto the idea, I couldn't let it go. Got me to thinking about why I got sucked into this fandom in the first place.
Still can't answer that question.
Then again, I'm not entirely sure I'm part of the fandom. I don't call myself a "brony." I don't go to meet-ups. I'm on the peripherals. I haven't dived in. I manage to drag myself out before I go too deep.
I'm along for the ride.
There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

However, "brony" is a social designation, not a type of lifeform.

Unless you are a girl, you are a brony, whether you call yourself one or not.
Which is how you see it.
The thing about an arbitrary designation is that it is subjective. I do not consider myself a brony because I do not self-identify as a brony.

There's a lot of girls who call themselves Brony too. It's pretty unisex anymore really.
Aye. "Pegasister," while a clever pun and a valiant attempt, did not catch on. Still used, yes, but very rarely.

So im assuming the haters are gone . Well I only watched the first episode but it was pretty good so i was considering watching the rest from the begginning. How long is the series?

Most of the haters are gone, but one will dip back into this thread to stir the coals a bit.
The first season is 26 episodes long, and the second has eleven finished and is ongoing.

Aaany way... Hi everypony! I actually made a Dakka profile just to post in this thread! Been lurking every once and awile on here, but dang it ponies you've done it again!
I'm surprised that no-ones asked this but how did you guys become bronies? Or in Nerivant's case, come to like the show, draw fanart, write fanfics, and draw others to the herd but totally not be a brony?

Was actually this thread that got me to watch the show. Then it hit the Cryx faction over on the PP forums (nightMARE empire) and was fair big there for a bit but the mods fought it off and banished it to Off Topic, where it still gets interest but much less so. At some point I found EQD, some good artists on DA, and finally, the various Tumblr blogs.

I remember seeing the first wave of MLP mash-ups that went out, but despite enjoying them and the visual style of the show, it never occurred to me that it was a thing that could be watched.
Then a few months (wow, it's been a while) ago, a friend of mine mentioned the whole brony thing and how big it was getting, which reminded me about the show. I watched the first two episodes, realized I had no idea where fans of this show congregated, and found this thread in the OT, and through it, the other popular sites.

Quick edit to Nerivant's post: Unless I've missed it's original release, but I saw Episode 12 this past Sunday. A very Granny Smith heavy episode, and relates to the founding of Ponyville. None of the mane 6 are really in it except for Applejack, and there is Applebloom and the other CMC (but the other two play a minor role)... All about respecting your elders.
Edit: Yes, there are now twelve episodes out for the second season. The most recent episode is titled "Family Appreciation Day"

Hah, I completely forgot about the episode I'd watched half an hour previous.
Yeah, Family Appreciation Day was the latest, had a fantastic nod to Weekend at Bernie's, and was all-around awesome. Granny Smith's story at the end was above the call of duty for a children's show.

"She never wakes up from her nap!"
My buddy and I laughed at that bit... we also spent the better part of 90 minutes trying to watch this episode as we were being interrupted by people coming back into our college housing.
