Anyone ever have a model go well beyond its point cost in a game?

Last night, in a IG/Eldar vs SW/Ork teams match, I had a Grey Hunter equipped with a melta-gun manage to take out a wrathlord, a wave serpent, and a Chimera on his own... after his squad was eliminated. Sitting in cover he managed to make every save until a second wrathlord walked up on him and chopped him up...

I haven't played yet, but I'm looking forward to have an opportunity. Wich model of mine will go beyond its cost?

had a single multi-melta trooper on foot pop 2 land raiders and a vindicator in a single game once... it was insane.

I've had a 45pt trukk run over a 200-pt odd full wounds 'fex.

35 point Rhino tank shocked a 270 pt Raptor squad off the table.

65 point MARBO. Threw his Demo-Charge and blew up a unit of Dire Avengers worth almost 150 points. Went on to blow up a Wave Serpent with a lucky Melta-Bomb hit, the WS being worth over 100 points as well.

I once had a weaponless Wave Serpent ram and immobilise a dreadnought (taking a shaken hit), and then proceed to tank shock two tactical squads and a Terminator squad, (all of which failed their Ld) and sheperd them off the table.

This isn't a model, but a unit....

I had a squad of burna boyz (15) worth 225 points that killed a pimped out demon prince, a 20 man squad of plague marines, and two squads of two obliterators in a single game.

I've never really had a "model" perform by themselves.

I had a Terminator Chaplain hold back the entire weight of a full Genestealer squad for a turn until his Terminator buddies could get into the combat as well.

He was just so mad! Those bugs had nothing.

Also, I had a Dark Eldar scourge w/ splinter cannon (26 points) kill two Chaos Terminators in a single round of shooting.

My buddy had a rhino that was imm. by a librarian. So on his turn he took another rhino and tank shocked him while he was still in front of the other rhino. The librarian had a PF and did death or glory and failed.

had a necron destroyer squad take out a scout squad, raider, and the majority of a command squad. Unluckily I phased out before I could do much more damage as my warriors got massacred.

Had a lowly tac marine with a missile launcher blow the gun of a fire prism kill a farseer and a winged autarch (the HQ thingy) then take the last wound off a wraithlord and he survived till the end of the game. (to be fair he did have an assist from the libby with null zone)

5 man Thunderhammer/storm shield terminator squad killed the following in one game:

Turn 2 Chimera (55 points) (squad inside killed their land raider, Vulkan came over and said hi to them the next turn)
Turn 3 Banewolf (130 points) (love those 3+ invu saves!)
Turn 4 Pask Leman Russ Executioner (280 points) Multicarged with Squad of two Leman Russ battle tanks (300+)

Then the last turn I took out his two of his three Hyrdas. (150)

At least 915 points taken out by a 200 point unit. Though he did kill the Land Raider to force the terminators out a little early.

Rule: Always move your tanks if they might get charged by Master crafted thunderhammers!

Had a 35 point rhino tank shock 550 point worth of tau off the board

I had a termagaunt with spine fists kill one plaguemarine on two consecutive turns of shooting. That was special.

The dakka tyrant on the other hand, it cost something like 200 points and would reliably (something like 2/3 games) bring home the bacon, killing tac squad after tac squad and a light vehicle or two as well.

I once had a Lone Grey Hunter (3rd ed codex) with a Power Weapon and Bolter hold off a full squad of Flayed ones before running them down due to sweeping advance and consolidating onto an objective to win the game

Before librarians got "fixed," I had someone deep strike Tiberius in a drop pod into the middle of my army, and use his 24" "bubble" thing to cause leadership tests to everything. 3/4 of my army ran off the board.

I had Prince Yriel take out 39 necron warriors, 7 destroyers, and a lord over the course of one game...

That's 1252 points. My opponent just couldn't seem to kill him.

Nope, 2000. A pair of monoliths ate him next turn.

My warboss on a bike turbo boosted behind a two vindicators and blew them up, then charged Lysander and his terminator command squad killing all, then died to bolter rounds to the face.

My Grey Knight Grand Master. Always goes beyond his 200+ point cost in use. One way or another, him and his termie buddies always scare the gak out of his enemies.

And then Warboss in Mega-Armour. Played a big Thanksgiving game back in Calgary (to anyone who was there, anyone up for Xmas?), and he cleaned up Njal Stormbringer and a bunch of Wolfies before he went down. All for 130 points. His nobz were a big part of that, but the OHKO he got on Njal made him stand out so nicely.

My standard melta dread, worth 140 pts with a drop pod recently made a mark for itself in a game against nids.

He was charged by a group of 10 gene stealers (who just wanted to tie up the dread), a hive tyrant and his retinue, then a zoanthroape. Over 3 turns he took out the stealers, the zoanthhrope, the retinue, and caused wounds on the hive tyrant. The hive tyrant struck, penned, and exploded the dreadnaught. But in the explosion, the tyrant took its final wound and died.

I have no idea what the point cost was (it was a lot), but it was totally worth it. Also, I decided to give the dread a name (Darnell) cause that much kick ass deserves it.

Any time my units of gretchin is still alive at the end of the game they have gone well beyond their point cost. And if they are actually holding an objective it's just plain insulting.

I had a basic infantryman sarge with no upgrades lose his chimera, then his entire squad of meltavets to a dev squad's lascannons. Then he proceeded to shoot down the last two guys in a TH/SS termie squad, run up the board, kill a dev with shooting, charge the remaining 3 and their sarge, win combat by one, make them lose their morale, chase them off the board, and then die to the last turn of enemy bolter fire, losing me the match (Rest of my army got slammered by a crowd of assault marines)

I get the feeling he crawled home and shot my Company Commander (Who legged it off my board edge with a bodyguard, medic, and heavy flamer still alive in his squad, the coward, on turn 4) in the face. Then my cats ate his chainsword. I think i'm doing something wrong here.

5pt (well, I guess 24pt since he is an upgrade) Changeling got a unit of Lootas to shoot another unit of Lootas who failed their leadership test and broke off the table.

One of my Aspiring Sorcerors killed Marneus Calgar in a game yesterday. I lul'd.

A single chaplain with a jump pack.

He was the sole survivor of a charge against a well dug in IG line, the assault squad he was leading dying in the process.

Charged at the IG line and took out 2 full 10 man trooper squads, first one failed and he did a sweeping advance all on his lonesome. Then did the same for the second. The game ended after that turn though.
