Probably my greatest unit, unparalleled in its lethality, is my Summoned Greater Daemon, the Great Unclean One. I've got stories about him, but I think this one sums up what he does quite nicely.

My gaming group was playing a team game: my Chaos Marines and my friend's Traitor Guard against Tau and Tyranids. I think the points value was 1k per army. I was to hold the left flank while the Guard held the objective in the center and provided fire support. The Tyranids hit my forces hard, and I lost everything but a handful of Plague Marines. The Guard managed to destroy the enemy Hammerhead, but then lost his Leman Russ to Deepstriking a Crisis Suit.

With only a handful of units left, our goose looked cooked. Then the dice gods granted me my Great Unclean One. Between him and the Plague Marines, they killed a Hive Tyrant, several Warriors, and two small broods of Genestealers, effectively taking the Tyranid player out of the game.

The Great Unclean One, with 5 Plague Marines in tow, stormed the enemy's objective. I'm no fool; it was suicide. The Tau still had many Fire Warriors, a couple Devilfish and Crisis Suits, but I played it cool. Even with more than 700 points of his army arrayed against only 200 points of my Marines, such was the record of the Great Unclean One that the Tau player fell back off the objective, conceeding the game. Not his most brutal game, but I thought it illustrated his history pretty well.

I have a Carnifex named Chuck (named after my dad, dedicated as a father's day gift) and in my most recent game with IG Chuck regained 5 wounds with Regenerate. At the end of the game I had only chuck with 1 wound remaining and an untouched Hive Tyrant left. We randomly rolled annihilation and I happened to be running big bugs that day. Do that math real quick.

Chuck rolls with T7, 3+ Sv, and 5 wounds.
Wing tyrant is standard T6, 2+/6+, and 4 wounds.

Over the course of the game Chuck took 9 wounds. He regenerated 5. If he did not have regenerate he would have taken 5 and died. Then those last 4 would have killed the tyrant and tabled me.

Chuck is awesome.

also thinking about it, between Chuck's super-regeneration and my eldar friend failing to wound with 8/10 harlies on the charge. My last two games were very very lucky.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

I had two lictors that I bought and put together for a game- then playing in their first game- appeared, charged and killed two wraithlors- 6-6-6, and 6-6-6- good times- This was back in third when rending was useful. I did also have a tau warrior put an EMP grenade on a Russ and drop it- making two "man alone tests" - yeah this was a while ago...hahah.

So your arguement is, that a photon torpedo can destroy things many times its size, so it could destroy the Death Star.......?

Haha- no way!

Stalwart Veteran Guard Sergeant

Edinburgh.

i once had ONE guard veteran get tank shocked by a land raider but he had melta bombs and death or glory owned it. That was sweet. I've also had a squad of 10 guardsmen get charged by 10 assault marines and kill them all in the first turn of retaliation. Also a great moment.

Human Auxiliary to the Empire

I had a 12 man fire warrior squad assaulted by a 6 man Gene stealer squad, and not take any wounds, and kill 2 or 3 stealers! THAT was a golden moment.

achully probably my best moment was a brood lord(with no gene stealers) that killed a hole squad of orks, then run across the battle field, making like 5 saves, jumping on a roof top, and killing about 6 guys with deff guns.
