Is this normal? I got given a free miniature with an order because they gave me the run around when it came to customer service. To 'make it up' to me they gave me a free miniature. With my luck they sent a miniature i already have, but mine is grey...
Would it go like this from a chemical reaction or something like too much sunlight?
I understand it's free and i wont complain if they gave me a free mini with cosmetic issues...just a lil annoyed if it turns out they gave me one no one would buy.
But mainly I just wanna know why its yellow. I've never seen yellow resin.

Resin comes in all colours. It's probably just cosmetic though they can discolour under sunlight. From various companies I've had grey, yellow, brown and blue. The problems to avoid with resin are air bubbles and distortion in parts - both are immediately obvious. I think resin can also be soft to the touch and you can leave fingerprints if you handle it. I'm guessing it's a sign that they haven't used the correct proportions of the chemicals involved but I've only come across it once or twice.

It an Enigma Miniature, i didn't get it through them though.
I have the exact same model but the resin is a light grey (which is pretty normal) but getting a yellow one was kinda strange.
It's like a lemon yellow, i have no pictures as i lost my camcorder.
I'm just thinking that the company who wanted to make it up to me thought they'd just send a mini to keep me sweet; a flawed one which they couldn't sell in the shop.

You might want to take a careful look for double mold lines.... A figure cast in the wrong type of resin is a sign of recasting.
Or is could be a simple case of two legitimate figs from two different batches of resin.

Hadn't of thought of that. It's got black bits in it though (one red dot too), as though its been dropped when wet. They won't rub off either; it is all smooth though.
I'll try and find my camera as it is quite strange.
If it is a different batch of resin is that bad? Will it take paint/primer differently?

Probably not. Resin differs between companies, but within the company it's probably very similar, the colour is cosmetic.
